when you set an appointment the day before at a certain time and than call right before to make sure they take me on time and he responded i can take you now i get there and there’s 2 people ahead of me. so frustrating!!!! stop taking g appointments if you can’t keep your word!!!!! there are plenty of nail places in the area. I love this place. The staff are always welcoming and the salon is very clean and professional. Three years ago I left the salon I used to go to due to an inappropriate incident by a staff member. (I won’t mention the salon name but I will say it’s close to a Target). I made an appointment with Kitty at Moonlight and have been a loyal client ever since. One of my toenails has a tendency to grow wrong on one side and it can hurt so bad. Kitty recommended I stop trying to fix it myself and just let her know when it hurts. Sure enough after she takes care of it the pain is gone immediately. If I could I would give ten stars to Moonlight Nails. They even gave out a Christmas gift to clients! How many nail salons would do that? They are the best nail salon in Lemont, period.

I’ve been here 2 times. The first time was a walk-in to get my acrylics filled in and one replaced since it fell off. The First Lady who did my nails was wonderful, but she had her appointment walk in so some other guy came to finish. He was shaping my new acrylic nail and he filed one part so much my finger started bleeding. His response was “it’s only a little bit”. I wouldn’t mind as much if he apologized. He instead sprayed something on it and continued. I will admit, he did a really good job but how he reacted to cutting me I did not appreciate. The second time I came in was an appointment. I got my acrylics taken off and got a manicure. The lady who painted my nails did 3 layers and just gooped it on so I sat there for a while while they dried. About 4 hours later I noticed some of my nails had the paint pushed back because she just rushed. Not only has this happened to me, but the same happened to my mom when she got her manicure. I really tried to like this place but I believe it is a waste of money if the manicure isn’t going to at least stay a full day.

The most amazing job ever done on acrylics. The man named nick did my full set, and it’s the best set I’ve ever had. The place is very clean, and the people are super nice. I will definitely be back. 10/10

I went in for acrylics and regular polish: the polish was done properly; but, they didn’t do anything to my cuticles. The nail file and buffer were obviously used on other people before me, it should only be a one time use. The extra acrylic was not filed from under my nails. Also someone started on me, and that person had to leave to take care of someone else so someone else had to take over. I am able to see the difference from each person doing my nails very clearly. One is smooth and the other has minor bumps. My friend also came in with me and got the exact same thing but I ended up paying more for some reason. The nails are OK but not worth the cost.
