Well, I have a bad back, and I have been using massage this last year as a way to get pain relief for tight muscles and stiffness. I saw the signs out on the sidewalk for massage, and thought this was a new business, but I guess they have been here for a while. I stopped in tonight, and was greeted immediately by a mature Asian lady with pleasant smile. I told her I wanted an hour body massage and she ascorted me to one of nicest massage rooms I have been in. It was clean with a massage table, padded chair to change in, and a neat counter at one end of room with a string of soft lights, a towel warmer, oils and linens. My therapist, Grace started by stretching and pushing on opposites sides with the towel in place. I have had this before. She proceeded to warmed oil on my neck, shoulders, and back. She spent a lot of time working knots out with her hands forearms and elbows. Firm pressure but never painful. She then used hot stones on my back as well, and they really relieved the tension in my low back. She then repeated that process on both my legs and really worked my calves. After she turned me on my back she did my arms, shoulders, calves and feet. Finished with a great neck and face massage. So relaxed. I am sorry I didn’t find Moon Spa before, but you can bet I will be back to see Grace next month for another go.
