Moon Light Nails

Critical: ProfessionalismI had the worst experience there. I went in Sunday right when they opened and no one but the receptionist was there. I didn’t have a mask on because I didn’t have one but the receptionist gave me a smart comment saying “you need a mask on, Covid is still a think around here” like obviously I don’t have a mask could you give me one ? He did give me one. Then I sat down to wait for the girls to come in & I asked if I can get acrylics and I then decided to ask if I can get a pedicure whileI’m here and eye brow wax, the receptionist then again commented “next time make sure you tell me when you get here” I answered “I didn’t want a pedicure until I saw the menu options and became interested as well as the eye brows. When I was in the middle of getting my nails done my younger sibling Asked for her nailsTo be painted. They painted them and added designs and charged more without telling me. They charged the same price as an adult manicure and didn’t even use gel, then again my sister was becoming inpatient because my nail tech was going very slow and his hands were hurting he kept stopping to rub on his hands which is totally fine I understood it’s hard work to make it look good, but when we were done He added designs on the nails without asking & charged for the designs that I did not ask for & they refused to do my eyebrows because my sister was becoming a little impatient. The receptionist kept talking to me like I was 5 years old. They charged me 88$ for just my nails. I did not ask for these I askedFor a specific design and I didn’t askFor him to do what he wanted & charge me extra. I still tipped & They didn’t even say thank you in the end. The salon is now under new management and the owners are amazing the salon itself is super cute, relaxing, clean, and the prices are reasonable. Snow did my nails and she did an amazing job! I will definitely be coming back to get my nails done Update 7/29: I brought my husband in for his first pedicure and he loved it! I came to moonlight nails on opening day and loved it! The salon is now under new management and the owners are amazing the salon itself is super cute, relaxing, clean, and the prices are reasonable. Snow did my nails and she did an amazing job! I will definitely be coming back to get my nails done

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI called them last minute on Sunday afternoon to see if they have available time to see me. So polite on the phone and I was able to set up an appointment. I got in wearing a mask, they took my temperature and made sure I signed in. I was offered a iced green tea while I was waiting. There were only very few other clients in, not more than 4. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Nails look great! On my way out I was offered a free mask to make sure I was safe out there. I called them last minute on Sunday afternoon to see if they have available time to see me. So polite on the phone and I was able to set up an appointment. I was very impressed with my experience at the newly remodeled and newly re-owned Moonlight Nails. The salon was super clean and the nail techs were awesome! They were compliant with Covid-19 regulations and made us feel very safe while we were there. Everything was thoroughly cleaned before and after each client and the number of clients was limited to enforce social distancing.
