Experienced, kind, and always gets my cut right even when I’m not sure what exactly I’m asking for. I show her a few pictures, she says “those are all actually different cuts” and tries to better understand what I’m thinking/looking for. I have been coming here for 4 months now right when Christine started and she is an asset to you’re salon . I go into the salon at least once a week to get my hair blown out and she has done my color twice now. I have not been disappointed. She takes her time and truly cares about what you want instead of usual hairstylists that do what they want for you. Blonde is such a hard upkeep but with Christine maintaining it I never have to worry. Thank you Christine for all you do.

I went to the salon to get my hair done for my wedding. The first thing that happened was the hair stylist complained how I had come in with wet hair when they hadn’t told me not to. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and then she started doing my hair. In the middle of the appointment, she said she didn’t like how it looked and took the whole thing out without letting me see it. Then at the end of the appointment, she showed me how she had done a braided bun that looked nothing like the pictures I showed her. It looked like hair from 2012. I took it all out and redid what I wanted in less than 20 minutes. I would not recommend going if you need any hair styling for an event.

I had my hair cut by a Newbury street sytlist for over 20 years before coming to Karen and have never regretted making the move to a local salon! Both Kim Nisbet and Jodi give great pedicures.
