Worst manicure ever. The worker could not understand a word I said so when I said to keep my nails long (naturally grown nails) and make a pointy shape, she did the opposite, ugly flat squares cut so short I may as well have been biting my nails instead of growing them out for this occasion. THEN when I started complaining she clipped my skin, making me bleed twice, leave nasty scabs on the side of my fingers that now hurt when I wash my hands. And it took two hours for no gel regular mani pedi where she was so rushed at the end due to poor planning she was just hacking off my nails into gross stubs. Don’t go

Made an appointment for my best friend and me and they took us right away when we came in. I got a full set of gels and she got longer acrylics done. It was my first visit here and I was very happy with the service and how my manicure turned out! Will definitely be a returning customer!

Great find and good prices! Comfy massage chairs and meticulous work! I was surprised when they person who sat to do my pedicure was a teenage boy, but he sure did an excellent job! He was a bit rough with the cuticle trimming, but that’s the only thing I have to say about my experience that wasn’t excellent! The people are very nice and the place is clean. I got a great pedicure here and I’ll definitely be back for more! I highly recommend this place! $35 gel pedicure in downtown San Rafael. They take their time and do it right!

I don’t typically submit reviews for anything I do. This salon absolutely warrants a review though, because my experience there was fantastic. I have been looking for a nail salon in San Rafael for months, and all of the ones that I have visited up to this point were decent but underwhelming. Yao at Montecito Nails took such care in giving me the perfect pedicure, she far and above exceeded expectations. The salon is also beautiful and clean, with comfortable massage chairs. I’ll be back for more soon!
