I started getting my haircut at this barbershop about 3 months ago or so and let me tell you this place is different. Tiff asked me a dozen questions all tailored to how I wanted MY haircut, I’m 27 years old and have only ever been asked 2 questions “ what do you want on top? What about the sides?” And that was as far as the questions went at the other places I would go. Tiff genuinely CARES about how I feel when I stand up and get out of that chair. Me leaving happy, leaves her fulfilled, and she has a client for life and she knows it. Not to mention she gave me the BEST fade I have ever gotten thus far. Every single barber in this shop is a professional who always makes every single person who walks in here comfortable no matter who you are or how you present yourself and that is something that speaks volumes here about their culture and their brand. The owner is a very conscientious and humble guy who is passionate about what he does. I analyze a lot in my day to day life and EVERY single barber in her HAS TALENT, drive, and PASSION. I can go on for days about this place but if you are going somewhere else and feel like a number, all that will stop once you walk into this shop, trust me you won’t be disappointed. Tiff is my therapist, consultant, barber and friend and if you want to go find a new barber that will build a genuine relationship with you and have your best interest at heart, I URGE you to give this place a try. This review was long overdue!

I moved to Montclair from NYC and had to leave my barber of 10 years. I took a risk here with Dylan in 2019 and have been going ever since. Love the atmosphere and the Montclair Barbershop crew. All are very friendly and excellent at their craft. The attention to detail and consistency are appreciated. They handled the pandemic (and continue to) very professionally. The space is clean with great music and fresh vibe.

Very happy with my haircut. My appointment was with Tito, the owner. He asked a lot of questions to make sure he knew what kind of cut I wanted, then executed it brilliantly. The customers with the other barbers were all regulars who also seemed very happy with their haircuts, so you probably can’t go wrong with any of them. Making an appointment online is super convenient. They may accept walk-ins, but the barbers seem to be regularly booked, so best to make an appointment.

Love this spot!. After moving from NYC I had a hard time finding a decent place to get a haircut. Once I found this place I felt like I found my tribe lol!. Dillan is great, always takes care of me and pays attention to detail. Make sure to make an appointment, they book up quickly.
