This was my first time visiting Monic’s Gastonia location and she did a great job on my hair. She’s very dedicated, polite, and meticulous with her work. Whatever style you want just let her know and she’ll hook you up. She also provides the hair in the color you want unless you choose to buy your own. Please be advised that she operates out of 2 locations, Greensboro and Gastonia and you just have to call her and make her aware of which one you’ll be visiting so that she will be there. *I’ll be providing her business card here so you can call the numbers provided and get cute today!* BTW I got a braided bob 🙂

Monic, did an excellent job on my hair. She went above and beyond customer service. She has 2 shops one in Greensboro and one in Gastonia. She drove all the way from Greensboro to do my hair. She goes above and beyond. And she did an excellent job on my hair and took her time. Very professional highly recommend.

I called Thursday for a 9:00 Saturday appt, details were discussed on the style of cornrows I wanted as well as price. I show up Saturday and wait an hour past my appt time, no one ever came and after several phone calls no one answered or called back. When Ms Mat ran the shop she was on time!, the new owner obviously doesn’t need the money. I will never return or recommend to anyone. I did get an appointment with another salon and as in and out in 2.6 hours.

Never will I ever go here again.. Called to tell Monica that my braids were falling out after a few weeks, kept getting the run around about when to come. She would tell me a time to come, but would never be there.. I spent to much money on my hair to have them falling out after two weeks.. don’t wanna fix for free you have to pay for the work she messed up. Don’t recommend her shop at all.

I left a message on July 31st for a return call about braids and have yet to receive a call and it’s Aug 7th. Stopped by the office on Aug 2nd around 1:15 on Union Rd in Gastonia and the door was locked, it was dark, but the sign said they were open. I knocked and waited for 2 minutes but no one came to the door. UNBELIEVABLE!
