Karen and Val are the absolute best! I have been going to Karen to get my hair cut, styled, and colored for over a decade now, and each time I walk out feeling lighter than air. Karen is truly a master stylist and a rare gem when it comes to the kindness, concern, and attention she gives to every one of her customers. Loving my new hair place! Val is amazing and you guys won’t regret going to her! She is honest and super knowledgeable about hair. She did an awesome job dying and cutting my asian coarse hair. She made sure I was taken care of and that I love my hair which I did! In the past there hasn’t been anyone who has come this close to making my hair look this good! I highly recommend this place! Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI am using my husband’s account but I went into Mombo today at first just to get a quote on a cut and bayalage to get done. I have always had a family friend do my hair since I wad a baby but due to her falling into hard times and being diagnosed with MS she couldn’t renew her license so I was looking for a reputable place to take her spot and that’s how I found Mombo. I went in and I was scheduled with Val by Caryn for today at 2pm. I got there like 4 minutes past my appointment but they were still able and willing to work with me. Val and Caryn are so welcoming and friendly. Val first wanted to talk with me about what I do with my hair, any coloring I have had with my hair, how I part my hair, how I dry my hair, what I do with my hair, etc. Then she asked me what I wanted to do with my hair and I told her bayalage with a cut and I told her my original idea was a navy blue bayalage but then I was like I don’t want to run the risk of staining my clothes, bed, towels, etc so I went with a more natural color. She completely understood after explaining everything to me and went to the desk to get the quote for me. She came back and told me with cut and bayalage was going to be 270 and possibly extra extra toner or bleaching was needed. I still couldn’t believe the price because it was a lot cheaper then everywhere else I was getting quotes from. So I went with Val to get it done and it couldn’t be happier with my new hairstylist. I am using my husband’s account but I went into Mombo today at first just to get a quote on a cut and bayalage to get done.
