My first time here was in April of 2021. I got box braids and they were fabulous! So I figured ok I’ll go back again. I got in the chair quick at 9am there were two of them in my head. I left around 12:30. I loved that it only took 3 1/2 hours to finish..this is my second time here which was 10/20/21 4days ago and this is how my twist look now. I wear a bonnet every night and I have been getting box braids and senegalese twist for years so I know how to properly care for them.there is no way my twist should look like this I have never had this issue at any other braiding shop. They also did a rush job while cutting the extra pieces of hair. I’m dissatisfied after being charged $220 for this style. They are very professional I must say. They do ask if you are ok or to let them know if they are braiding too tight which is a good but this is disappointing.

I was not pleased with the service. The braiders arrived late and then she talked on the phone for about the first 45 minutes to an hour. A week prior to my appointment I showed a picture of the style I wanted and asked if should could give me that style and how much. she said yes and $180. The day of my appointment I showed her the picture again and she give me something completely different saying what I wanted couldn’t be done and then she asked for $20.00.

Modji and her sister are very courteous and consistently check on your comfortably while they provide service. I’ve had my braids for three weeks now and they still look good. This is my third time getting my hair done here. I still have my edges and hair.
