I had a nail nightmare from another salon and came to Modish Nails Spa for help. I walked in and the nail tech listened to my concerns, offered suggestion and performed service in a quick and efficient manner. The experience was great and I was able to get in and out. I will never come here again. Before today are used to come here with my son every two weeks for a jelly pedicure and a fresh layover so of course I remove the old acrylic for my fresh set and my son gets a manicure and a pedicure. Today I just got my nails done meaning I soaked off the old acrylic and got a fresh layover I was charged $80 by Ricky for something I normally pay $55 for. Not only did I have to wait 40 minutes before someone even started to soak my nails but then I was left for an additional 40 minutes until someone came to finish taking off the old acrylic. THIS IS NOT WORTH $80!!! I hate being taken advantage of and this is what he did by being greedy. For that they lost a long time customer!! I will never visit ANY MODISH nail salon in NC ever again. And I will definitely let everyone know Including all social media platforms not to go there because the service is horrible and not worth it at all.

The start of my service went very well. I came in and asked for a pedicure and also to have the gel polish removed from my fingernails. Lee was very gentle with the start of my services but there was a miscommunication on the type of polish that I wanted to use and she clearly was upset. Once we got to the portion of my gel polish removal from my fingernails my experience took a turn. I’m not sure if she was upset about the miscommunication on the type of Polish I wanted on my toes but she started to get very rough with the procedure for my fingernails. I asked for the gel polish to be removed which she did but then she asked what type of Polish would I like and I told her that I was not getting a manicure I just wanted the Polish removed. she proceeded to clean the polish off and then put oil on my hands and told me to go ahead and wash my hands. When I got to the register to check out she had marked on my slip that I got a manicure with gel polish. This was not the case, the manager at the front is the one who marked what services I wanted and he seen it as well. He said it was in case of miscommunication and he took off the added fees and that was fine. BUT

I probably have bad luck with going to nail salon but I have gone to modish 3-5 times giving it a try over and over and every time they mess up my nails with it being crooked or thick or hurting my skin I show pictures and super nice and patience but I wanna love it cause my friend likes it but they never get it right for reference one thumb is crooked other is fine and you can see how thick polish is yet to find good nail salon near me

Large salon with approximately 20+ chairs for pedicures (starting at $30) and a walk up sitting bar for manicures. It felt spacious and clean; a lot of customers, but no waiting and no appointment needed. Complimentary beverages served including wine, how nice! Great relaxing, open salon. Highly recommended.

I went in for a pedicure and fill-in. The ladies at the front helped me, and showed me to my chair for the pedicure. The woman who would be doing my pedicure sat down in front of me and asked if I had my color picked out and she went right into the pedicure filing my nails and clipping my cuticles. I wasn’t sure at what point she would ask me which pedicure I wanted so after she filled the foot bath up with water, I asked which pedicure she was doing. She said “at this point, I can only do regular and deluxe.” I explained I wanted the jelly pedicure (the more expensive one) and she said she can’t do it at this point in the pedicure (when all she had done was clip my toe nails??) I said cool just do the deluxe. She did that, and moved me to the other table to get my fill-in. I watched as people who were sat after me, were taken care of before. I thought maybe it was a mistake but after the 4th person, I decided to just leave. I will be going somewhere else tomorrow to get my fill-in. Worst service ever, and this was my first time at this nail salon. Also my last.

Never really had a bad experience here until today. I was turned away because I had my daughter with me in a stroller. Until today this has never been a problem. I was told by a girl at the front desk “Do you have someone that can watch her?” If I had someone to watch her I wouldn’t have her with me!! They couldn’t accommodate me and her in a stroller. I wasn’t in a rush, I could’ve waited until someone was done with an end booth but she didn’t present that option to me. My feelings are actually hurt because I love this place and location. But my feelings and daughter come first so I guess I’ll drive to the Matthews location from now on!

I came in and waited 30 minutes while others were serviced that came after me. I checked in after about 15 minutes when I noticed this happening. She said it would be 5 more minutes. After another 20 minutes of being passed up and seeing other techs sitting around. I politely got up and handed the clerk my ticket and explained how no one was helping me. She snatched the ticket and said they are all eating and didn’t want to rush anyone. I just walked out. I felt insignificant. I won’t be back again. I always get pushed to the side when I patron here. I don’t understand why.
