This was my first time going to Modish and they were fantastic! Grace was the absolute best. I got a lovely pedicure and beautiful acrylic nails, they made sure to give me options and make sure my choice was exactly what I wanted which resulted in my nails being exactly what I was hoping for for my birthday. Grace and the rest of the staff were all very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable and content with our services. I’ve gotten my nails done before at other places as well but my experience at modish was entirely perfect, my sister and mom both had a great time as well and don’t usually get their nails done- but they said they’d be back too! 10/10

I have been to this location several times over the past year and the work put out more often than not is mediocre. However the last two times I have come here the experiences have been way below par. Prior to today I tried coming a month or so ago and was told to sit at a station and wait for someone to come over. I sat at that station for 55 minutes where no one came up and spoke with me or even acknowledged that I was there. I left without a word, saying nothing and left no review hoping that the next time I went back it’d be better. Today I went in for a full set and after being convinced to do a pink acrylic (which I was told was no different of a price) and get a design I had done many times I was told that the price for the set would be $75. Mind you out of all the times I have gone here I have never once paid more than $60 for a full set. I have gotten the same shape and design many times and was never charged the $20 fee I was told today for the nail color. It’s not even about the price of the nail set it’s about the fact that they are inconsistent with their pricing and the overall service is at this point unacceptable.

I was a walk in on a Tuesday around Noon, a friend referred me, and happy she did. Nina did my gel pedicure and SNS nails. She did a great job. I like a nail technician that takes pride in molding a new set of tips. No lumps, smooth, thin…how a nail should look…I didnt leave with any glue or polish around my nails. Like some nails spots simply do trash nails and expect to you to come back (ie; V.H Nails Spa, Huntersville- Horrible!)…Anywho, I Absolutely am satisfied with how my nails look. Nina was wonderful, Nail are Perfect! Found my new spot!

I had a gift card from the Matthews location, but went to the Mint Hill one because Matthews doesn’t have great reviews. I decided to take my daughter and we got matching nails. Everything was great there until I went to pay with my gift card. I was told I couldn’t use it because it was bought from the Matthews location…I was baffled. That’s like saying you can’t use a Target or Harris Teeter gift card that you bought at a different location. This nail spa is a chain and they don’t let you use gift cards from a different location…that really turned me off.

I had given this place a 5 star review, but needed to revisit my post. Got my nails done 3 days ago. (SNS) Within the first 2 days, 4 of my nails popped off. (Second time this has happened) Went back to the salon and manager was not willing to let someone else repair my nails at that time. I had to make an appt for the same person. They won’t do refunds or gift cards in this situation. So after spending $85, they weren’t too concerned about fixing the situation for me immediately or that I’d be a returning customer. I made an appointment to get my nails fixed, but its questionable if I’ll going back after that. I’ve spent a lot of money here and have been a customer for quite some time so I’m quite bummed they didn’t treat a loyal customer better.
