I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SALON! Elisha has been doing my hair since 2013. She does an awesome job and takes her time. This lady knows what she is doing. She’s very polite as well and have great communication skills, her products are not cheap she very products knowledge. I recommend her to anyone. Critical: ProfessionalismOnline it clearly states that to cancel your appointment 24hrs before. I had cancelled my appointment with Elisha 2 days before and asked her for my deposit refund. She never responded. So again I asked her for my deposit refund the following day (24 hours before) and she went on to tell me because it’s short notice she will refund half. My deposit was $35 and she refunded $15 only. Then I proceeded to tell her online it clearly states 24 hours before. She went on to tell me during the holidays the policy is different. I moved to NC from CA a year ago and was in search of a black owned salon and found Modish Hair Salon on line. Elisha has been more than accommodating with my schedule. Elisha is a very talented stylist and I love going to her because I always leave very satisfied with the results. After I leave Modish and go shopping I always get compliments on my hair. I recommend the salon to anyone.

I just moved from Wilmington NC to the Raleigh area a few months ago and really needed to find a new hairstylist in the area. I ran across the Modish Beauty salon website and contacted Elisha in regards to doing my hair. I have been here three times so far and she has really done wonders in restoring the health of my hair. In my last visit I received a relaxer and she did a great job basing my scalp and really paying attention to overall health of my hair. I recommend her services anyone! Especially those with damaged dry hair like myself. I have visibly notice progress of my hairs with each visit.

Moving from PA to NC and going to college I wanted to find somewhere that would help me manage my mixed hair. The location was great so I called Elisha and she let me know all my options. We decided to go with the keratin treatment which let me keep my curls but they are manageable enough now that I don’t have to spend hours on my hair. Even after leaving the salon and attempting to do my hair on my own it was so soft and manageable. Modish is definitely going to be my regular salon. So happy with the results!

I was more than pleased with my experience at Modish Beauty and Barber Salon with Lisa. My expectation was far exceeded and I’m very thankful for finding this salon. Lisa was kind and provided me with a friendly atmosphere. She really seems to know what she is doing, unlike other salons that I’ve been to in Raleigh, NC.
