She’s particularly skilled at choosing color ( cuts, too) and I always receive compliments after my appointments. Her shop is attractive and always clean. I have been to this hair salon for a hair cut for my six year old daughter and for an updo for an eventful myself. I had a great experience on both occasions. The stylists have been punctual and friendly. Both stylists ( I used different ones for each service) asked questions before starting the process and while they were styling my hair and that of my daughter, to ensure we were happy with the results. I have really thin hair so it can be challenging, but my stylist manages to make it look full and wonderful. We loved it. I really recommend this salon. Additionally, the prices were reasonable.

I Love Moderno, Feda fixed my hair color from using box color to a very pretty chestnut and I will never make that mistake again, She knows what is best and always so sweet. Marie is also great and so is the rest of the staff very accommodating and the salon so clean.

Today was my first time at Moderno Salon. The place was inviting, well-maintained, and everyone was super friendly. Emily gave me a gorgeous haircut! She was also very sweet and informative; which is perfect since I tend to ask a lot of questions. I highly recommend if your looking for a hair salon.

Matt is a talented stylist. He nailed the color I was going for and is very accomodating. I was supposed to just get a root touch up but instead got a double process that took much more time and he was very flexible to get it done for me. Also this salon is not pushy about products or services like other salons I’ve been to. I will definately be coming back to see Matt at Moderno Salon in Melrose.
