Don’t usually give out reviews like this, but this is a special case. First of all I would like to say that the customer service was fine; with that being said, when I told the barber exactly what I wanted, he succeeded in dissuaded me of it, saying that another way would look better. I went along with it, figuring I could trust this man’s judgment, and he completely ruined my haircut. What I saw was nothing like what I wanted. I managed to get it fixed at another barber, and the way the other barber explained it, was that the barberdid not have experience with cutting hair, hence the dissuasion of my original request of a haircut. I honestly don’t think that a barber should be working there if he cannot do a simple mid fade.

So I booked a haircut and shave for my father for his 81st birthday. Wanted to treat him. Website said shave and hot towels. I really thought it was going to be a treat for him. Appointment said 40 minutes. After about 20 minutes my father came to me that he was finished. I looked at him and his chin and neck were not shaven. No hot towel and he was shaven with an electric shaver. How disappointing. I was watching the other guys getting haircuts and boy were they getting the royal treatment. I was just really disappointed for my dad.

Since moving to the area, I have been trying to find a place for a haircut, and once I discovered Modern & Traditional Barbering, I know i found my place. I tried multiple other places around town, but felt very comfortable here. The place is clean, warm and inviting. They are in the process of expanding which will help get more people in. They treat many kids, and all are happy. would definitely recommend!
