The nails are perfectly shaped and smooth. There’s a tiny speck of gel polish on my skin on my middle finger, which will come off in a day or so. No big deal! Nina was so great. I did a walk in, no appointment. I had my acrylic nails filled and gel polish applied over top. The nails are perfectly shaped and smooth. There’s a tiny speck of gel polish on my skin on my middle finger, which will come off in a day or so. No big deal! She was professional but also very laid back. Will come back when I’m back in town!

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and have always had a good experience. I have a couple of techs who I make appts with but I also just do walk-ins from time to time and everytime the technicians are great. They are pricey but they don’t disappoint and my dips always last.

I went in for a gel mani as a pick me up during a stressed weekday. I walked in around 2:30 PM and they saw me within 5 minutes. Alex was the technician and did a super good job and was super professional. The price was very reasonable as well. I would recommend this salon.

I don’t often write reviews but I’m writing one today because I am extremely tired of the way the Modern Nails does business. Every single time I make an appointment with the receptionist, there is something wrong with it. On Friday, I walked in and talked to the person at the front desk which I believe is the manager and told her I wanted an appointment with Cat for Sunday at 4pm. I made sure to repeat myself on who I wanted, and the service I needed to ensure enough time was allocated to those services. I walked in to my 4pm appointment today and was told there was nothing on the books for me, then later was told it was with someone else. Mind you this is not the first, second or third time this has happened to me at this nail shop. Even after making appointment, I’m either having to wait for hours, I’m over looked while others are being serviced or straight up ignored. Cat has been doing my nails and she does such a great job, she has great attitude and I appreciate her for all her hard work. Unfortunately, she works for incompetent people and I’m taking my business elsewhere since my business is not appreciated. I am leaving a review because if you value your time, and customer service, please take your business elsewhere! Find a place that value the same principles. Modern Nails definitely does not value it customers so save yourself from the horrible place. I am disappointed and will never go back! I spend too much money in here to be mistreated.

It was a terrible experience. The manicure didn’t understand what I like and just polish more and more and i said that I don’t like to polish so much. Than, she puts some tip in my nail and I hate tips, she did this without my authorization. When I asked something she started to laugh with more 2 manicures and talk in them language. I felt so humiliated and I had to pay to this poor service an expensive price. I hate and I’ll never return.

I can’t speak for the salon as a whole but my experience with Liz was less than satisfactory. I spent $77 before a 20% tip which I was happy to do for the design and the sns work I thought she did. However, more than four nails started lifting on my natural nail bed less than a week after I got them done, therefore breaking my natural nails because of her poor application. I reached out to her for either a refund or for her to redo her poor work. Liz said she may have availability at 4 o’clock for three days after my complaint vs the next business day. She proceeded to not message me back, and left me no choice but to dispute the transaction with my bank and have her work removed by another salon a week and a half after she did them. Terrible service and terrible work.
