They were so rude and made up prices as they went. Not only did my manicure peel the first day, she also pushed the cuticles back to far to the point where they keep bleeding. Very unprofessional and over priced. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Manicure, Pedicure

Critical: Quality, Valuewas from out of town and needed a shellac color change. Honestly Denny who did my nails was incredible nice and my nails looked great last Tuesday (we were in town for the Duke & Ohio State basketball game 11/30/21 today exactly one week this is how my nails look. It’s low quality shellac for a crazy cost. I normally pay $52 for a fill in and shellac. I had just had my nails filled in the day before and didn’t like the color once I got to Columbus so I went to modern nails for a shellac change. $67!!! $67!!!!!!! For something that would legit flake off a week later. I can go nearly 8 weeks and never have shellac chip. I learned my lesson. Sadly don’t waste your money.was from out of town and needed a shellac color change. All I got was a fill in and my technician was rushing me from the start. Literally horrible. Rushed me, pulled my hand when told to bring closer, made up prices, rude, told me she did not have “time” to do something. While my nails turned out okay, the overall experience was a disgrace. My daughter got a pedicure, while I got a manicure/sns. The pedicure consisted of filing nails, scrub on feet, and paint nails. The manicure consisted of cutting my cuticles. The tech didn’t take the sns powder all the way to my cuticles, so it looks grown out already. Also while sanding the powder down, she cut a line across the nail and didn’t fix it. She filed my nails so low they look like I bite them. She asked me 3x if I wanted gel and I said no, she then put gel top coat on and tried to use the uv light, which I am allergic to and had to tell her no again to gel. I would give zero stars if possible.

Went in for a long full set, I called before going to check pricing and was told it would be $37 and a little extra for longer. I didn’t want any type of design or anything, all I wanted was clear polish and was told it’d be $120 for long (no design or polish color or anything) and if she cut them down a little, it’d be $80. Not sure how they do their pricing, but I’ve been getting my nails done for a very long time and there’s no way it should be $120 for no design at all, no gel polish or anything. They also speak very little English, so you can barley communicate with them.

If I could give this place 0 freaking stars I wish I could. First, they are super unprofessional. My friend asked, “how much for French?” the dude at the desk was super rude, he told her, “$47 and if you want to be cheap then go to Walmart”. I was beyond upset, then my little sister got the simplest set and they charged me $86 for what? These nail shops be getting over and taking advantage of people. They have no set prices and they charged you just for breathing air. I wish I seen the reviews before trusting my sister to do come to this place. It was terrible please if you have common sense don’t come here. They are rude and it took the man almost three hours to do a set? Never again.

We originally weren’t sure about coming here after reading some reviews but so happy that we did! My bestie & I got mani/pedis and both received quality & friendly services. Our nails turned out beautiful & the staff was so enjoyable!

I am not with the service that I received; I have been getting the dip powder for at least 3 years now and never has the top coat peeled off or chipped within days of getting my nails done. I went back to following day to have them fix it, which they did without a problem however the top coat is peeling off again and the my polish is chipped. My nails look as if I got them done over two weeks ago instead a couple of days.

I have been getting my acrylics done regularly for years now, and I have not had worse service. The nails were uneven in thickness, length, color, AND shape. I tried to call and get help because of the awful job that was done and was then spoken to rudely on the phone and refused a refund. I tried to call again later to speak to a manager and was denied that. After all of this they hesitantly offered to fix them, and wouldn’t listen to me while I tried to explain my busy work schedule and how I would much rather spend my time at a place where their idea of good nails matches mine. I simply wanted a refund because I spent $58 of money that I earned on something I hated. I do not plan on ever returning to modern nails and recommend that anyone planning on going here should go to Creative Nails of Gahanna instead where I have never been anything less than overwhelmingly amazed at not only their talent but customer service.
