First visit was great I had Hannah she did a great job loved my design (Orange) and my nails lasted 2 weeks. Second time I went was this Sunday 11/7 nails are already peeling today 11/9 and the thumb nail shape is so crooked. An Older lady did my nails, I should’ve stayed at my regular spot and I wanted a design and her attempt was horrid I just told her to paint my whole nail. The two stars are only because of Hannah. I would probably go back ONLY if Hannah is there.

Critical: ProfessionalismModern NailsI will never ever step foot back into this establishment.I went to get a routine fill-in walked out feeling like my nails went through surgery.My cuticles were bleeding from the electric tool that the nail tech used and my nails were hurting afterwards.Not only that but 3 days later my nails started to split in the middle ( which is very painful)and 3 of them came off while I was doing my hair.I went in today Monday January 17th just to receive poor service with nasty attitudes (from the older lady that sits at station 1)and no apologies for the damages of my nails.The lady at station 1 says have a seat and has me to soak my damaged nails, she then tells me “after you soak your nails here’s a paper towel for you to wipe the polish off.”That caught me off guard because I’m not employed at Modern Nails and no professional nail technician has ever asked me to service myself.While I’m soaking my nails the guy at station 4 says “Get up and come sit here” he then proceeds to tell me he has to charge me for a service that I paid for 3 days ago…I have been coming to Modern Nails for over 9 years and should have stopped coming to this disrespectful establishment back in 2018 when the professional service started to decline.I’ve watched the nail techs treat their customers differently if they didn’t know who you were.. I’ve loved this nail salon since I was a teen. I don’t come as frequently as I should but am always treated with amazing service. I would recommend this nail salon to anyone looking for a clean, fresh smelling, quiet relaxing salon environment. I felt heard in reference to the services I may need and not randomly up sold like other places. Thank you again to the staff! Appointments are available, though I did not have one. I was still serviced quickly and taken care of very well through every service I requested. I also loved the massage chair for the pedicure. I received the Deluxe Pedicure, Gel Manicure, eye brow and lip waxing.

Received a gift certificate from a friend to Modern Nails for the second time. I got a pedicure then a manicure. My technician did a super job! She was obviously very experienced. The foot, leg, and hand massage was wonderful and very relaxing. I recently had knee surgery and have been experiencing right much discomfort the past few days. The massage is included as part of the the Classic Pedicure. It really helped relieve some of my knee and leg pain. Will definitely be returning! Also, my tech was very kind and helpful realizing I had recently had surgery.

I would not recommend. Gel manicure was very rushed. The technician didn’t remove my previous nail polish completely and it could still be seen through the new polish. The polish came out bubbly and not smooth which she had to fix twice. The top coat was stuck to my skin on the sides of almost every nail and the bottom line of the polish by my cuticles was uneven. After the hand massage, she didn’t remove the lotion leaving my hands very oily. Not worth the money, and I’ll unfortunately have to get them redone at another salon.

I’ve visited this location several times in the past. The service has been good and the quality was worth the value. This last time unfortunately was different. So much so that I won’t be returning. The guy completing my pedicure was completely rough with my toes and even caused a discomfort in my toe bed. I brought this to his attention but he kept going with his abrasive approach to a pedicure. The biggest complaint is the lack of sanitation. The products has a really bad smell to it and didn’t appear clean before using them on my foot (yes just one). When he went to buffer my toes with the same orange buffer he just used on someone else’s finger nails, I asked him to stop. I dried my feet and left. I don’t know if it was just this Sunday but having a clean and sanitized environment is huge and should be prioritized with the amount being charged for services…

I’ve been to this salon before for a dip manicure and they did a fine job, saw me right away w/o an appointment. The second time i called the day before to book an 11:30am appointment on a saturday for a classic pedicure and dip removal & manicure. i get there at 11:30. i didn’t have anyone start working on me until 12:10. i could only get the pedicure because i didn’t have time for the removal and manicure. no apology from thalia. i won’t be going back.
