Critical: QualityUsually Rose does my nails very beautifully, but today I had to go to the other lady that works there. Usually Rose does my nails very beautifully, but today I had to go to the other lady that works there. She didn’t listen to my nail request when I told her I wanted black AND orange multiple times. My nails are also very thick and crooked and you can see where my nail was grown out before. I’ve never had a bad experience here before, but I’m really upset and don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I typically only get my nails done for special occasions but every time I do I go here! While they all do an amazing job, Lee is my absolute favorite. He always puts 110% into my nails and is so kind. I’ve included a photo of the French Tip Acrylics he did for me for my senior photos today, they came out beautifully! I highly recommend them 🙂

I then continued to go because you can’t beat 35 bucks. BUT the last time I went I was treated poorly and my thumbs were not even and guess what.. those 2 nails fell off in 6 days. So I went somewhere else. My new nails lady took off another nail and said I had fungus growing under it because the lady at modern nails GLU back my actual thumb nail back to the gel nail instead of removing it and water got inside it. Absolutely awful. I started going there two months ago and I started to notice the same 2 nails she kept filling was falling off in about 5 days. I then continued to go because you can’t beat 35 bucks. BUT the last time I went I was treated poorly and my thumbs were not even and guess what.. those 2 nails fell off in 6 days. Went In today planning to get my French tipped nails touched up. Got my nails done and then I had a French pedicure. The lady that did my finger nails messed up a little bit, they weren’t horrible but they weren’t exactly even or straight. So I got my pedicure which she did awesome on! I asked the boss (i think) if they could fix up my finger nails and he did it with no problem. He even kept me half an hour after they closed to ensure that I got them fixed. Very good customer service I will be back.

I had my nails filled a week ago by Jack whom was clearly frazzled that day. He kept looking outside every couple of minutes. Half way into my full, he suddenly got up and rushed outside and was yelling at someone in the parking lot (whom I found out from another employee was someone who parked there and left). When Jack came back in, he said nothing about the incident nor apologized for suddenly leaving. Three days 3 later my nails were chipping. By day 5 one nail was broken (this happened simply by zipping up my jacket. I work on a computer from home all day so I was not doing anything that would cause them to break). I called to schedule an appointment and Jack answered. He asked who did the nails and then had me come in. When I got there, he was working on someone else, so another employee started helping me. Jack confirmed with me that I wanted a fill, and I agreed knowing that he knew who I was. When I was done, the lady who did my nails checked me out and wanted to charge me $40. I asked about the charge as I was coming 1 week from my last fill with broken nails. Jack asked me what my problem was and I told him I didn’t expect to be charged full price for this visit. He responded that since I changed the color of the polish, I would be charged full price and stated that when fixing a nail, it has to be the same color to get a discount…

I had an appointment and had to wait to be seen. I was rushed through (put my feet in cold water, forgot the hot towel, half effort, quick massage) and it was obvious the first and second coats did not line up/cover the entire nail. In the middle of my pedicure the gentleman left me, tended to another customers hands and returned to my feet with the same gloves on. I had a gift card that was not honored. It was a terrible experience and unfortunately wasn’t the first time something like this has happened to me here. I will never go back.
