When I moved to Palatine, I was looking for a new nail salon with in close proximity to my place. Googled salons and decided to give this one a shot! I’m so happy that I did. Love my nail tech, she is so nice and takes her time. All the other techs are just as good! I go with the dip, lasts 3 weeks. Highly recommend!

SAVE YOUR MONEY. They applied glow in the dark nail polish without as much as a comment or warning that the color I picked out was glow in the dark, even after I told them this was for my wedding. When I called back and explained this, I was offered to “put a neon color on top”. I explained that I don’t have time to get them fixed nor do I want a neon color. They refused to refund my manicure for their mistake and now I have to go get my nails redone.

Wow! Prices change all the time. The lady I had first two times had no issue. Looking through the comments I see the no chip is a scam from the word go. Got charged 83.00! For a no chip French manicure and no chip pedicure I chose black and white for my feet. My cuticles are cut down past whatever skin I did have. They were bleeding as I ate my lunch right after. Seven of my fingers were bleeding all around the nail beds. Hurts!!! She wasn’t cutting she was tearing away the cuticle.

If I could give it a zero I would’ve. I’ve been to this place 3 times. Diring my first visit, I got a no chip manicure. The lady with the short hair was very rude to me. She wasn’t even doing my nails but she kept commenting whenever I asked the person who was doing my nail to fix anything. It started when I told the one who was doing my nails very politely to not leave any spaces, the one with the short hair (she was doing someone else’s in the next table) looked at me and said with attitude “she knows.” I was very weirded out especially that I asked so nicely and I wasn’t even her client. At the end they were alot of spaces and the lady had to put 2 extra layers which made the nails so thick and it peeled off 2 days later! Also at the end, I wanted to tip the lady who did my nails so I asked her to deduct it from my card, but before I even finished the sentence the girl with short hair replied that they only accept cash or zelle (understandable) so I zelled the tip to the phone number that was on the table because I didn’t have any cash on me and I informed the one who took care of me that I did, and the one with short hair heard that too. I honestly don’t know why she was so involved because I wasn’t even her client and that was literally my first visit. Anyways, as I was leaving the one with the short hair, followed me and she insisted that I show her the zelle transaction to make sure that i did tip!! I felt so violated but i didn’t say anything. I showed her and walked away and I almost cried for how bad i was treated. Since then, I was committed that I will never go back, till my siste convinced me to try it again with her because it is so close to our house. I tried it for the second time and it was alright. But today, I call in the morning make an appointment at 5pm, I show up 4:55pm tell them that I have an appointment at 5pm, the one with the short hair denies my appointment, so I literally had to pull up my phone and show her the call logs. Then, she asked me to sit down and someone will help me in 5min, I waited for 30min with no help and then when I asked her for how long I’m going to wait, she looked at me and looked away without giving me a respose ! Finally, someone comes over to help at 5:45pm. I was so annoyed but i didn’t say anything, until while the lady was working on my nails, the rude one looked at me and said “we have low capabilities and we can’t reach your expectations.” Sorry what!!!!!!!! All I wanted is to be treated nicely and professionally. Basically

Every nail tech is different so I would say avoid Kim at all costs. She’s really sweet but does not remove your cuticles correctly. I stopped coming here in December and my nails still aren’t healed and one of my finger nails is still missing a cuticle because it hasn’t grown back from the damage. My nails still aren’t the same even with taking a biotin vitamin. You get what ya pay for.
