Was accused of trying to run out on services after their machine went down. My card did not decline, I showed them my available balance. Was harassed to the point of tears, ended up getting cash out of an atm to pay and left without having my nails finished. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Have never ran out on a service and never would. My card was ran and NEVER came up declined, the machine wasn’t connecting to the server and after wiggling the cords, and swiping my card repeatedly I offered to get cash in fear of being charged multiple times on accident. I literally showed them my available account balance to prove I was no thief, despite having done nothing wrong. Was followed into the neighboring big lots when attempting to get cash back. The big lots employee told me they wouldn’t do it without a purchase. I offered to go across the street to the gas station to get cash. This is the night before a wedding with 3 nails of 10 painted. The cops were called and my license plate was written down all because they were not satisfied I would not leave my wallet as “collateral” (i’m sorry in this day and age of card scamming I’m not leaving my wallet.) AGAIN my card NEVER declined and I happily pulled up my available balance to prove I was no thief. Was followed, yelled at in the parking lot until I managed to get in my car, get cash, come right back, and left in tears. I have never been harassed or so insulted in my entire life. I was yelled at and had the cops called on me and my CARD NEVER DECLINED. paid about 80 in total for a pedicure that wasn’t to my liking and 3/10 nails painted, and a sad excuse for “coffin nails”. When I asked the lady working on my nails politely to fix, she said my fingers were crooked…..I was told by the owner that his machine had never failed in 10 years (newsflash…they didn’t even have chip cards 10 years ago -_-) i have NEVER been this insulted in my life.
