Positive: Professionalism, QualityToday, was my second time at Modern Nail Bar and again I am very pleased with their service. Everyone is very kind and easy to speak with. I get the gel nails with gel polish and a pedicure. There is no pressure to get anything different or add. The salon is new and very clean. Today, was my second time at Modern Nail Bar and again I am very pleased with their service. Everyone is very kind and easy to speak with. I get the gel nails with gel polish and a pedicure. There is no pressure to get anything different or add. The salon is new and very clean. It appears they offer many services and I may try the next time I visit.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueDO NOT RECOMMEND, unless you are OK with being overcharged and receiving a product you did not ask for, that does not last. After a year of not having my nails done, I asked for Ombre dip powder, and my nails were done with Acrylic on 9/25. 7 days later, I had a chipped & broken nail. I called back and made a 2nd trip for the repair. That evening, another chipped. They are closed Sundays, so I called first thing Monday morning explaining the issue, but that I was working and could not come in. I spoke to a very kind and understanding woman. I went back Tuesday morning and at that point had 3 nails repaired (so ½ of my nails repaired at this point, also stated how I did NOT want Acrylic, and I was not sure why he did this.) Same night, I had another nail pop off and another lift, that eventually fell off. I showed up the following morning requesting since 7/10 nails had issues in less than 10 days, that I wanted them removed and a refund. The “manager” Ty said since I was “almost at 2 weeks he could not help me.” I have taken time off work, used gas for 3 trips, and that’s the treatment I get because of their poor work and product? Acrylic set is $30 and they charged me $55 claiming because I requested Ombre… You should probably let people know 1) if you decided to use another product and 2) that you’ll be overcharging them. Shafty and shady!!! Poor, thieving, overpriced service. Now I have to pay another place for take off.
