I came into Modern HC and didn’t really know what I was looking for but knew I wanted some color to freshen up my hair. I instantly felt at ease with Kara. She is so sweet and you can tell she is educated on color and passionate about what she does! She gave me high/low lights and they look absolutely gorgous!! The difference is night and day. Way more than I could’ve hoped for. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out && thank you so much Kara for making this momma feel beautiful!

First of all, this place is awesome it has really cute chairs for kids and activities for kids to play with while you’re getting your haircut. Anjie did an excellent job at layering my hair and it was so quick my kids didn’t even have time to misbehave . I would strongly recommend this place and if you’re a busy mom that can’t sit in the chair too long. Make an appointment with Anjie

My hair grows slow. It finally started growing through my pregnancy. It was FINALLY where i wanted it to be after growing it for YEARS. I just wanted a trim. I have curly hair so cutting it at all is dramatic for me. I went into Modern haircare asking for a half inch trim. Should be minimal changes. Needless to say when i left my right side was at least 2+inches shorter than my left side and my layers were 3inches shorter. I dont remember asking this lady to cut all my hair off. Layers make my hair so big!! Unless they are long layers and cut correctly. When i got home and noticed the length difference( i left with wet hair. I was already upset that my hair was so short i didnt notice the length difference.) when i got home i immediately called the salon. I went in the next day to get it evened out. There goes MORE hair to even it out. My hair is about 4 inches shorter than when i originally went in. Not only did i just have a baby and feeling down about my body and trying to fix that but Now my perfect hair is gone too. I cant style it like i did EVERY DAY. I cant throw it in a bun for an easy style because im a mom and sometimes i cant curl my hair everyday with a newborn. My hair is huge. It doesnt lay the same anymore. It takes A LOT longer to do.
