5 stars shouldn’t come easily. But honestly, if I don’t have a bad experience after multiple visits it’s hard to justify knocking a star. The ladies who work here are very high spirited and charismatic. I get work done at Les Schwab every 2-3 months and found this gem last year. I become more confident with each haircut that Modern Hair is part of my routine now. Car maintenance is stressful and expensive, but if I take $25 and come here I leave relaxed, smiling and just feeling better about my day and myself. I am really glad I found this place. Also.. this is the first hair place I’ve gone to and didn’t feel the need to clean up my cut once I get home. They just do it right.

Poor service, the owner (hair stylist) refuse to cut my hair shorter. She just insisted of what she wanted. She keep saying it will not look good if she cut it shorter than 1″. When I got of there it seems like I did’nt have a hair cut at all. She even commented that she does’nt cut hair too short since customer will take forever to come back for another haircut. She keeps insisting she do my eyebrows, w/c I did not go there for that. I told her if she will not budge of how I like my hair cut, that this is the 1st n last. What a horrible experience. I posted this on my husband acct.

Ann is super awesome and friendly. I didn’t get the older lady’s name, but she too was awesome. Found this little gem looking for a Sunday trim. Most places are closed and I wasn’t going to the mall. I asked for a trim and freshen up my layers, it’s been a minute .. lol .. we were clownin’ on my gray hairs. That’ll be my next appt. She went straight to it. Didn’t take her long. I do have a lot of hair to work with. She was done in a few minutes. Turns out she’s been there for 14 years. Good lawd .. Glad I found her. She micro blades too.

I wasn’t too happy with my haircut at all…it was not what I asked for, the lady didn’t acknowledge what I wanted and I had to ask/convince her to even it out. Also, she didn’t take the time to style it nicely after the cut but charged me $27. I won’t be coming back.
