This was first time at the salon. Rachel did an amazing job with my hair. Dan and Christine are also very welcoming.I felt very comfortable. Everyone is very friendly, welcoming and professional. It’s a very relaxing environment, theres a beautiful bubble frame and the chairs where they wash your hair is a massage chair. I gave Rachel a photo of the highlights that I wanted to achieve and she did a super job. I found my new place to go and I love, love my hair! I would highly recommend Rachel, Dan and Christine. They all are wonderful. Thank you, Rachel!

I came into the appointment with a botched haircut from a popular chain salon, and my hairstylist, Christine, transformed my hair into the hottest look I’ve ever had.

Since moving to Connecticut from New York in 2020, I have been looking for a fabulous hair salon so that I don’t have to travel far from home. I came across Modern Edge Salon, and I went in for a new look/cut on 10/23/22. From the moment I entered, I felt at home. I received excellent care, a fabulous new haircut that I am over the moon for and an absolutely beautiful salon. Although I don’t remember everyone’s name, and I do apologize, the owners are such outgoing, friendly, down to earth people and the girl that did my hair is such a great cutter, she knew exactly what I wanted, she saw my vision and she cut my hair perfectly. She is such a delight. It was an outstanding experience and I already booked my next appointment.

Rachel is amazing! She is patience. she will explain to you everything, she will answer your questions to the best of her knowledge. She let you decide and suggest what is good for you hair. They are open Tuesday to Saturday. The place is elegant touch of woody and modern design, clean and organized. I love their massage chair while they are working /washing your hair , I almost feel asleep because it is so relaxing. They also have available hair products at a reasonable prices. The place is easy to find, plenty of parking space, not crowded and it is definetely safe. You have to call for appointment as they dont accept walk-in due to volume of booked clients. Before I left I made sure that I did my next appointmet already!.

Such a cool and relaxing atmosphere. The owner Daniel gave me one of the best cuts I’ve ever gotten and I left the salon feeling better than I had in a while, and his wife was so kind and helpful. After going to numerous places for hair cut and color, I found the right place. They were professional and at the same time down to earth happy .. polite well mannered and willing to listen to what I want but also walked me thru the process .. explained everything took their time working on my hair .. did not rush.. love the ambiance .. conversations and they were very knowledgeable of mixing colors with a great outcome .. I love how my hair color and cut came out .. the girl that did my hair color was so friendly respectful and know her stuff ..
