Charged me $85 for a dip FILL. a FILL. my nails came out crooked and they didn’t even do second coats on the paint. I asked the lady for a more rounder shape and she never accommodated that request. They’re super pointy, not what I wanted. They aren’t clean at all. Not to mention it took an hour for them to even start on my nails and then they disappeared halfway into them doing my nails.

I wanted to get dip powder manicure. They charged me $76 for this. At first they said it would be $55. Then they started to add this and that and made it $76. I specifically said I wanted a manicure too but never got a manicure. As soon as the lady finishes the nails, she was like yeah you are done. I was so confused. She didn’t even clean the cuticles. I got it on Thursday and on Tuesday they are all looking like this. It hasn’t been even a week. This was my first time going to that salon since I just moved to this area. I will not be going back to that salon. Dip powder nails are definitely not $76.

My mother and I had the signature pedicure here and were absolutely pampered. We both had had such a great experience, the staff were so friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we were relaxed. The salon was clean, you can tell they take pride in their work. Would absolutely come back for more pedicures! Pedicure

I’ve gone here a few times and have been disappointed. But it’s been three years and my usual place was shut down for vacation, so thought I would give it another chance. Big mistake. My mom got a rushed 30 minute pedicure. Woman didn’t say a word, didn’t get the dead skin off her feet, put one coat of polish on and then rushed to finish up when a walk in manicure came in. My polish is sloppy and my toenails are all different lengths. So overpriced for the service they provide.

My first set of dip nails were extremely long and pointy, what I didnt ask for. $70, which didnt include cuticle cuts or hand soak. Two nails were broken before 2 weeks. Went back for a new set of dip nails, much shorter this time. Same price, $70 – I got them done Monday, its Friday and 2 nails are broken. The atmosphere of the spa is really nice and the owner is a wonderful woman, but the price for what you get is NOT worth it.

Such a beautiful, relaxing and clean spa/nail salon! Lena is fabulous with waxing, pedicures and I am super impressed with the quality and attention put into my dip powder manicure! I am super picky about my nails and cleanliness of the spa. Modern Chic was not only 5 stars on all things but the all of the staff are incredibly welcoming as well. I will definitely be back for more pampering services!

I’ve tried so many different nail spas in Frederick and this is hands down the BEST one there is. VERY CLEAN. Staff is always friendly and professional. There are many options for pedicures, the signature is expensive but COMPLETELY worth it (great massage included!!). Services are fantastic and consistent every time.
