I am very disappointed with the work Dr. Yazdan did for me. My hair line is very crooked. I told him when he was drawing it, and he didn’t listen. He seemed to be out of it. I just recently got a new one, and they fixed his work. The recent Dr. also told me that he didn’t believe Dr. Yazdan gave me the 1500 grafts I was quoted. I feel like I wasted a lot of money going here. I found him because there are blogs that say he is one of the top surgeons in the world. My advice: look into the person who is posting those. He appears to be an employee of the clinic. He is posting the same stuff all over the internet.

Well I’m at my 9 month post op. I actually live in Las Vegas where Dr. Yazdan did my surgery. I want to start off by saying that I DID my research. I actually spent about a year thinking of the best scenario geographically while finding the best doctor. The thing that I really liked about going with Modena is that most doctors told me they do multiple surgeries a day and they fly in “ techs “. I wasn’t comfortable with people with no Dr. training doing my hair. I spoke with Dr. yazdan over the phone and he was very straight forward and honest about everything. I felt comfortable going with him because he really just seemed to know what he was doing and not a sales guy. I was concerned about having a bulby type look on my graft but when Dr. Yazdan explained he uses the smallest 0.8mm ( I think ) by Law and he actually developed the tool he uses I knew he was legit! I did 2k grafts and it took about 7 hours. Dr. Yazdan performed my entire surgical removal and his assistant was amazing. It wasn’t painful I’d say about the same pain as getting a tattoo. After surgery I did and have been doing everything the Dr. instructed and I must say I am very impressed. There is no doubt I’d honestly say 99% of my grafts are growing beautifully and looking darker and more natural than my original hairs. The precision of the grafts are unreal. I also had concerns and seemed to be freaking out after my surgery about grafts falling out and would like to answer a question you might have. Pretty much every graft I had implanted fell out but it looked as though the actual graft had fallen out because there was tiny shaved hairs with skin around them. These actually looked like grafts but don’t be alarmed as it was jut dead skin over the hair that is supposed to fall out due to shock. Within 3-4 months I started noticing growth. It wasn’t very significant and I’ll be honest I was a lil concerned but didn’t panic as it was explained it could take up to 14 months. Every month after month 5 has just gotten thicker and thicker and I started growing it on month 8. Also my front hairs grew way faster than my back ( crown). Overall I am very satisfied and know I made the right choice. This guy is definitely the way to go!

What was my motivation for getting this procedure done? I only needed one, the fact that I was balding and it was ruining my confidence on a daily basis. That if of course, until I met Dr. Yazdan. Being in my early 40’s I definitely did not consider myself old just yet, but my receding hair line told a completely different story. So one day I was at the dentist and I made a comment about how my balding was bothersome, and I was told about Dr. Amir Yazdan and his work as a hair transplant surgeon. Now I had previously tried many other things to try and help my hair, shampoos, special diets, nothing was working. I knew surgery was an option, but I never truly started considering it until that day. Immediately after I went home, I started doing my research. I looked up several different doctors, made appointments, and looked at all the pictures of their results. One of the doctors I made an appointment with was Dr. Yazdan. When I got to his office it was clean, the staff was polite, and one of his previous hair transplant clients was in the waiting room. We struck up conversation while I waited, and not only was a so impressed with his results (he showed me a before picture), but he did nothing but sing the praises of Dr. Yazdan. So, I was looking forward to meeting the guy myself. During our initial consult, Dr. Yazdan was grade A! He answered all my questions before I even got to ask them, and told me everything I needed to know. Seeing his great portfolio, and his results in real life, helped encourage me to go forward with the procedure and I booked my appointment for surgery. Dr. Yazdan and his staff kept in touch with me leading up to my procedure, and following it. The surgery itself was lengthily though not as painful as I had anticipated. The doctor used a local numbing cream so I was able to stay awake during and even work a little in between. He had a team of several other people that were aiding him with everything, but the doctor stayed in the room the entire time and was very engaging. It has been over a year now since my hair transplant, I received about 2,500 grafts (and I know this to be accurate because the doctor had a counting device that showed me every time a graft was retrieved), and I honestly cannot remember the last time I looked and felt this great. I look younger, I feel much happier, and I have a full set of hair. Dr. Yazdan was the only option for me, and he was the best decision!

Dr. Yazdan is awesome! One of the most down to Earth doctors I have ever met. Everything went really great with my hair transplant surgery. His staff was kind and engaging. If anyone has researched hair transplants, you know that the procedure can be somewhat lengthly. His staff along with himself had me engaged in conversation and they helped pass the time. They even provided me with lunch and constant refreshments! Customer service at it’s finest! Dr. Yazdan concurred with me throughout the surgery, we picked my hairline together, he made sure I was satisfied and got exactly what I wanted. When I came the next day for my follow up I could already see what a difference my new hair line is going to make! The procedure went great, my hair is growing out in places it hasn’t grown out of in years! Hooray!

I was referred to Dr. Yazdan by a good friend of mine who had his hair done a year ago. He had the strip method and has no scar, so I went to him for a consult. I was really impressed by how much time he spent with me and thorough he was in his consult. He explained the procedure very well and made me feel very comfortable. He was honest about how many grafts I could get and let me know that if I have a problem with my scar he would even do a scar revision for me if I needed it. I had my procedure done 2 months ago and I am so happy with my results. It looks so natural, and even though he said I won’t see the full results until a year from now, I can already see where everything is growing and I am very happy. I would recommend Dr. Amir Yazdan to anyone interested in a hair transplant surgery!

Having researched all options for hair restoration & dealing w vitamins, topical, & prescriptions etc for years to reduce hair loss My mother confidently chose Dr. Yazdan to perform her strip procedure for maximum graft outcome. My mother had battled cancer & pain management for years which left her w severe advanced hair loss in the front and crown areas. After interviewing several hair restoration specialists in San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles, the decision to go with Dr. Yazden was easy to make. He has the experience and the expertise that you want to look for when trying to improve on your looks without worrying about whether or not you have made the wrong decision. Probably the best doctor I have been to! I went to a good amount of consults before I decided what doctor was the right fit for my Hair Transplant surgery, and Dr. Yazdan was the right choice. At one of the offices I went to, I didn’t even meet with the doctor prior to surgery, I got to speak with a sales rep…I laughed and walked out. I had a great consult with Dr. Yazdan when we first met, while he took his time with me and together we decided on what surgical means of fixing my problem was best. He listened to me and all my concerns. Everything went just as smoothly on the surgery day! Dr. Yazdan talked to me during the procedure, explained to me what was going on and how everything was going. I got to see the room where the other members of his team dealt with my graphs under their microscopes, and he even let me see a close up of some grafts. My hairline is looking awesome and full! I got a great level of density and hair graft survival! Thumbs up!!!

My husband and I met with Dr. Yazdan regarding the hair loss he had been experiencing for the last 4 years. He have a strong family history of balding (dad, uncles, brothers) and wanted to do something about it before he started to lose a considerable amount of hair. He was particularly worried about the receding hairline on the sides of my head which he tried to cover by brushing by hair forward. During the consultation with the doctor, he did a computer scalp exam and discussed his hair loss with us. The doctor was so knowledgeable and professional and well rounded. He discussed with us the different types of hair restoration surgery and discussed the newer FUE method in which there is no real scar with very minimal downtime. Because he didn’t need a lot of grafts, the FUE method was perfect for him. He underwent the procedure in November 2012 and the procedure was FANTASTIC. There was so much staff present during the procedure and Dr. Yazdan stated this was important to minimize surgery time and to minimize the length of time the hair follicles remained outside of the tissue. He received approx 1,350 grafts (about 3,000 hairs) and the procedure took about 7 hours. I was amazed that he had no downtime, and returned to work the next day, and it was almost not noticeable that he had a procedure done. Now almost 1 year after the procedure, the transplanted hairs have grown out and we are both REALLY happy with the results. I never expected that he could get such great results and have his hair back the way it was years ago. Unbelievable. Since my procedure he has had about 7 follow up appointments with Dr. Yazdan and his professionalism, staff, and work has been SO GREAT. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
