I have been going to Modena for years now and the service is great. It is a salon that made me feel welcomed from the beginning. Everyone is super friendly, helpful and professional. I get SNS Dip and pedicures. I would tell you my awesome tech’s name but don’t want her to get booked up. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. I would say make an appointment and check it out for yourself.

My daughter, granddaughter and I came in with an appointment! My granddaughters tech was very friendly. I sat for about 20 minutes before my tech sat down to do my pedicure, I greeted her wit a how are you, she was not responsive, very rough, and not friendly at all!! She would push my foot down in the water roughly and did not do a complete pedicure, basically soaked feet about 2 mins, took my polish off, massaged my feet and legs for about 2 mins polished my toes. Didn’t put my sandals back on and didn’t put the disposable ones on until she looked at my granddaughter and realized she forgot. When she took the liner out, she pores water all in “my” sandals. She came over and flipped my feet off and told me to move over to the door. My daughter and granddaughter go here all the time and love it, it was the worst experience for me. The owner was really nice and if the salon wasn’t full of people I would’ve told her what was really wrong, when she asked. It was my daughter’s birthday and I wanted to treat her. I am glad it was a good experience for her.

Slapped my hands talked to me like a child and charged double amount on bill. Didn’t give me a good set of nails either. Disgraceful behaviour of both nail tech & management lying to me about price agreed upon. Price gouging for customer service. Sculpted nails, French manicures

Critical: QualityThis is my second time coming here the first time was great, but this time was horrible!! I made an appointment and was rushed. The girl I had was rushing and every design I wanted she tried to talk me out of so I just got a basic white. The white is very see through and its not a even coat. The service was okay, the staff was friendly! I went in for an acrylic full set and the lady rushed my set. The nails came out bulky and uneven. The gel nail polish was spotty when finished. She kept talking about how she wanted to go home and that she was tired. I went and got them removed at a different nail place the next day.

I normally will not post a bad review however I had a very rushed appointment today. I did walk in but they said they had time to see me and I told them what I wanted done. The lady that did my toes also did my nails. My pedicure was ok but when it came to my nails it was so rushed that I was cut 3 times to a bleeding point, she never said sorry or anything. She then put some oil on my nails that burned the cuts even more and I know she heard me wince and I even said ouch a few times. Very disappointed in the service. The owner has always been super nice and the lady with the longer hair is very nice as well. This lady just seemed ready to get out of there and kept checking her phone toward the end. I mentioned about getting the glue off that was all over and she seemed irritated. The first time I went I had a great experience. This was the 3rd time and it was the worst time. I almost wanted to apologize for coming in without an appointment but it says walk ins welcome and they said they had time. I just suggest if you do not have the time then please don’t take the client. I would not have minded having to come back. I’d have rather had a better more relaxed experience.
