My nails were done by a young man who wasn’t friendly, but when finished it looked like a reasonable job to me. However, the next day part of the color on 1 thumb had come off and I returned to have that fixed. The owner of the shop decided that all the nails had to be redone and did his very best to make them as beautiful as could be. Within 3 days (!) most nails already had the color coming loose again and I went to another salon (in another state, because I was traveling) to have new color put on. The thing was, I believe, that the color they used came out of a bottle that was nearly empty and maybe old. The owner was very kind, but unfortunately the nail job was terrible.

Great atmosphere. The workers remember faces & are always polite & say hi by name to the regulars. The workers are friendly & have conversations with the customers. My nails come out great everytime and don’t lift within the 2-3 weeks before getting my fills again.

I’ve been to quite a few nail shops in Bakersfield, but Model Nails is by far the very best. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the owner and directed to a nail technician. Danny made sure he knew exactly what I wanted before even starting to do anything. I am one of the pickiest customers out there, but I was really satisfied with the results. Came out with the most gorgeous nails ever! It’s a nice place, in a safe area, with friendly staff, and gives fast and quality service. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to all!
