I really hate to come back and change my review like this. We were so pleased initially, but have not been able to return since. Twice in a row now they have called to cancel appointments, roughly an hour before we were due in. I maintain my 5 star view about quality, my previous comment is below, but for reliability I find them sorely lacking. I sincerely hope I can change this review again in the future.

From Nick to all the staff, they make you feel like one of the family, listen to what you want or need, and always go the extra mile for you. Some of the best haircuts I have ever had, including yesterday, and always priced incredibly fair for all the services you receive. Not only were they practicing social distancing, but also making sure the place is spotless before and after each customer! Hopefully soon things will be back to normal so I won’t have to wait 3.5 months again for my next haircut because i won’t go anywhere else!Love this place and Nick is the best! Love this place and Nick is the best! From Nick to all the staff, they make you feel like one of the family, listen to what you want or need, and always go the extra mile for you. Nick is AMAZING!!!! I met him 10+ years ago when he first opened his shop here in Keene. He is my GOLD STANDARD for hair stylists. I live on the west coast now and struggle to find anyone as good as him. I like low maintenance styles (wash & air dry) for my thick hair. After I have Nick work on my hair, it always goes through really nice transitions of which still looks awesome 5 months later.

I thought I would share with people interested, that as of today (May 2021), a hair cut at this salon is $60, not (starting from) $28, as listed on their website. I have short hair (shoulder length) and I was given this quote over the phone today. Very misleading, as it is more than double than what they list online.

So, I went today and got my hair done and was extremely impressed with not only the color that my hair turned out being but also the service. Extremely nice and helpful and very very talkative. I’ve been to salons where my stylist doesn’t say a word , but at this place they hold a conversation the entire time. It is also very affordable. Would recommend to anyone hands down. I have decided to make this my new go to salon. Thank you for excellent service!
