I’ve gone to mockingbird salon five times now and have always loved my experience. They have an easy online scheduling system but are also available by phone, they are always on time, and the salon is welcoming and clean. I’ve had Stephanie cut my hair and she’s great! Highly recommend Hairstyling

Dinnie is a god send!!!! A curly head queen slayer full of curl magic. From start to finish I had an amazing experience. Their vast knowledge of curl types and patterns is unparalleled. They helped me grow my curls from limp ramen noodles to luscious corkscrew Botticelli goddess curls! Seriously if you want a curl transformation go see Dinnie. I don’t trust anyone else with my curls and neither should you! 5 stars is not enough to give this amazing curl specialist.

Excellent salon and wonderful staff! I recently decided to switch salons and made an appointment with Joanna. I was nervous to try a new spot, especially considering how particular I am about my hair. I am so glad I did! I left my previous Passyunk-area salon, because I always felt like an “outsider”… I didn’t grow up in South Philly, and for some reason, it felt like that was held against me. Anyway, that was not the case at Mockingbird Salon. Joanna welcomed me into the salon, and asked me what I wanted and how I preferred my hair to be styled. The salon is cute, clean and relaxing. I was offered a drink (if I wasn’t pregnant, I would have gone for the wine!), and was given a wonderful head massage while my hair was washed. The cut and blow-out were perfect, and the prices are right! I will definitely be a regular going forward with Joanna.

I had a really nice experience at Mockingbird! I highly recommend. My stylist Amber really listened to everything I asked for. She was very precise, and really put in a lot of time and effort into giving me the perfect haircut. I walked away feeling like I looked like a better version of myself which is exactly what I wanted. Will definitely be back. Decor is also super stylish.
