I never leave reviews but I chose this salon over several others I researched partly because of the great reviews, so I felt it would be helpful to share. Good reviews or not, it’s always scary trying a new place and I was skeptical going into it. I got the Japanese thermal treatment and was so impressed by the service I got. I’ve had this treatment done about 3 other times in the past, all at different salons. Moa has done the best job by far and was fairly priced in my opinion (I’m basing this off of the prices I paid at other salons for this service). They spent so much time ensuring I would like the end result and were so attentive to my needs. Not only was the experience great at this salon but the result was the best I’ve had (and my hair isn’t easy by any means). I will definitely be going back to them as long as I’m living in Washington. If you have been researching and wavering on which salon to choose, here is your sign to go with Moa.

First off, they were super quick to get me in at last minute and they took the time and quality to help me get the desired hair that I wanted. Both ladies who work here and have helped me were super kind and knowledgeable in everything they do. They made sure that the color I wanted was within reach and went through each process with detailed explanations that also helped me understand what they were doing, why they were doing it, etc. I highly recommend this salon to everyone and will be coming back here every single time I need to get my hair done.

I went there this week to get a Japanese hair treatment. It did cost $350 but the owner and 2nd in command worked on my hair for 5 hrs. It came out amazing and well worth the money. The place is stylish and they care to give you the price before they start and do better than promised. I will continue to go from now on.

There were 2 women, one I think was the owner, one a younger lady. I went in to get a haircut and a digi perm. The younger lady was very good at explaining what was going on (first time getting a digi perm). I thought it was a little strange how both women tag teamed everyone in the salon. Ex: if one lady was working on my hair, the other was doing a hair cut and visa versa. The entire process took longer than they told me (they said 3 hrs but it took almost 4 1/2 hrs so be sure you have time). They did the tag team well tho, every customer was attended to.

I got the japanese hair straightening/relaxer done here. I shopped around and even though Moa was more expensive, it was worth it. The salon was clean, everyone spaced out, and I felt taken care of even though they were extremely busy. Katie was really sweet and explained to me what the procedure would be like. There was another client getting the same service, but ours differed a little based on our hair. My hair is thick, uncolored and untreated. I felt like katie and the owner knew what they were doing. I will definitely come back here in the future for hair straightening!

The price for me was 500 bucks but so worth it .You get stylist working in you.The owner was a big sweetheart and very caring. And Katie was just simply amazing. She is very attentive.
