We always have a wonderful experience here at Miyu Nails and happy with the pricing for services. They have a great team! My husband loves his relaxing pedicures with Lynn and I see Nancy for the best gel manicures and pedicures. She is creative and helps get me ready for any occasion! Here is a pic of my most recent visit for the Holiday nails.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI have been going there for about a year now, and today was my final straw of why I am not coming back.1.) The nail technicians will talk badly about you with clients and other employees. They will purposely block calls, block individuals from Instagram, and refuse to talk with people on the phone or through text to schedule an appointment if they do not like you (all have been said by the nail techs in-front of me). This last time, I had to call from a different number to make an appointment and my text message to schedule an appointment on my actual phone was entirely ignored.2.) They size you up and charge you more than what they should depending on how you look. Came in with a new purse, and suddenly I am charged $110 today for ONLY a full set. I only have an acrylic glitter powder on. According to the website, it should be around $60, which is what I have been charged in the past for something very similar without the purse.3.) My nails were done terribly today for $110. You can see where Brianna cut my finger and did not cover it up. To make matters worse, she asked me if I hit my finger before the appointment? Which was an obvious no, as it was due to when she purposely ripped my nail extension off during the soak off, resulting in it to immediately bleed. There were other impurities in the nails that were noticeable. Also, my nails were not filed down but clipped once on each nail, leaving a bunch of the white part of nail exposed with a clear extension.4.) I was asked why I looked the way I did coming in. When asked what she meant, Brianna then backpedaled and asked why my nails looked liked that and why I would want a new set. Not a single nail was broken or chipped, and was a complete contradictory comment.5.) When I told them that I did not want my pedicure done and that I was not happy with my nails, I would have a ten dollar fee on my total. I was a short term cancellation, making a whopping total of $120 for not great nails.Hope this helps someone not waste their time getting overcharged or insulted.Services: Pedicure, ManicureI have been going there for about a year now, and today was my final straw of why I am not coming back. …More

Great place to go! They have great communication on pricing and even have you message them before hand to get a quote! I love this because I’m not surprised or thrown off when I go to pay for my nails. Nail art, Waxing, Pedicure, Acrylic nails

I was a repeat customer at Miyu nails since I moved here almost 8 months ago. i’ve always tipped, and paid accordingly and they have always done great work and that was until I went about a month ago when i was going on vacation and got a full set and pedicure. That was when i experienced micro—aggressive/covert racist behaviors from one of the nail techs. I was the only person of color there being serviced that day, and i had a design I wanted and showed the nail tech. he was like,”sure we can do that!” he starts to put the tips on and abruptly stops, looks at me, and says,”do you wanna know how much it’s going to be before we keep going?” I was confused by this as another girl(caucasian woman) sat in her chair next to me and started at almost the same exact time as me, and was not asked the same question when they started. I told the nail tech “no” and he proceeded to calculate the cost for me anyway, as if i didn’t have the ability to pay. It became apparent to me that the only reason why he was telling me the price before hand is because I was the only person of color(non hispanic/asian) being serviced that day. I really felt disrespected because i am a veteran and work hard for my money and I value quality service, and that’s why i liked Miyu because they did quality work, but i’m not willing to tolerate being disrespected in a place that doesn’t value my money or think i’m incapable or undeserving of great customer service due to the color of my skin. Now i will take my hard earned money somewhere that appreciates my patronage. If this was a new store policy to show people the price of services prior to starting, then they need to implement that and train their staff to ask EVERYONE just not the people they feel like asking.

I made an appointment for my husband and I to get pedicures at the same time. No one told us that I would have to sit there while my husband had his done b/c if they had we would have left. I understand that staffing is an issue every where but other people came in while my husband was getting worked on and they got their pedicures started way before me. Again, I went to the trouble to make an appointment. Very unprofessional. Will not go here again.

Critical: QualityI’m giving two stars because the customer service was good but the nails were just not it. I looked at the price online to give me an idea of what I was going to pay. I was getting short nails so I wasn’t expecting to pay more than $60, I paid $85 for short nails and I wasn’t told until the tips were glued on. After I went home, I noticed the shape of each nail was different and the design was sloppy. Search for good home based nail techs, you can never go wrong with themService: Acrylic nailsI’m giving two stars because the customer service was good but the nails were just not it.
