I had called multiple hair salons close to me and they had told me they did not do hair perms and that was a shock to me. When I called Mitchell James Salon they fit me in ASAP for a perm appointment. The place was very neat and clean. It was a relaxing environment. I’ve been coming to JD for over 8 years and absolutely LOVE Mitchell James Salon! Growing up, both of my parents were in the hair biz & they told me I’d never have long hair since mine was baby fine & poker straight. In the 1st appointment, JD taught me more about my hair than my parents did. Now my hair is long, full, healthy & stylish. Going to see JD like going to a spa. Georgia, the shampoo lady gives a great scalp massage & everyone is knowledgeable & helpful. I will NEVER go anywhere else. If you haven’t been happy with your stylist GO SEE JD!

Mitchell James Salon is wonderful. I love the peaceful atmosphere that you don’t find in other salons. They offer a great selection of really fine hair products. James is an expert at knowing what looks good on you (and what doesn’t) and always cuts hair for the easiest wash and wear styling. As an extra, they are located in a very cool part of Saint Louis.
