Went here and got my hair done in 6-8 jumbo braids for me to get home and realize she didn’t braid the entire back of my hair. Called the next day and walked into the salon she said oh cause your hair was kind of short . As a professional you tell the client you can’t do it and send them somewhere else. That’s not even the killer 3 days after I got my hair done they braids started slipping and coming out so I had no choice but to remove them $85 down the drain that I can’t get back

This is my 2nd time patronizing this salon. My first experience was great, the stylist was very skilled and pleasant which is why I returned the 2nd time. I called Amy on a Saturday afternoon and said I wanted an appointment for the following day. I was told it was slow and she asked if I wanted to come that day? I told her I’m about 40 minutes from her location so it would take me some time to get ready and get there. Amy said it’s okay and told me to come. When I got there Amy was not there, a woman advised that Amy stepped out and asked if I wanted another woman to do my hair. I had already booked with Amy and I figured it wouldn’t be right to go to someone else. I had such a favorable experience last time I said if Amy just stepped out I’d like to wait for her. Had they told me Amy left for the day I would have allowed the other woman to do my hair. Amy finally came back to the salon and her demeanor was different. She didn’t speak to me she was speaking to her co-workers. Finally she came to me and I asked her about a different style and she told me “No, I can only do the style you asked for”. She said “it’s late, I have a baby to take care of, she said she left and these ladies called and begged her to come back for you”. I reminded her that I told her before I came I would get there late. She told me it wasn’t her that I spoke with. I wanted to leave but since she came back with her child and she said it wasn’t her that I spoke with I just stayed. She started my hair and I noticed she was more aggressive when combing my hair and parting my hair. When I showed her the size my twist was last time and that I wanted the same size she told me “she didn’t care about the size just the way I wanted my hair styled”. As she was almost finished with my hair she asked how much did I charge you last time? I said $140.00 she said I’m going to charge you $20 more this time. She had to pay the girl who twisted my hair to the end and she also setup the hair. I understand that however she should have asked me before she started if it was okay to change the price to pay the girl helping her. I also told her remember do not twist my edges and she snapped let me finish I know what to do. She twisted one side of my edge in and other side was left out like I asked. The size was smaller than what I wanted, the twist didn’t last as long the bottom row is hanging off as is the side that my edge was twisted in. I’m completely unsatisfied with the service and the style. My twist are not as nice looking as before and they’re not going to last as long. I’m going to look for a different salon. I know there was a misunderstanding however Amy didn’t handle the situation in a professional manner. I cannot spend my money where I’m not respected. Amy has the skill to do hair however she’s not a professional.

The lady that braided my hair was pleasant and she listened when i asked her not to braid my edges. she didnt braid that tight and my hair lasted a weekend and a half. It probably would have lasted longer but i couldnt do all the gel everyday. My braids were equal sizes and very neat.
