Misty Nails

Critical: Punctuality, QualityThis is a long review, but please read it all. I booked an appointment at this salon for myself and one other person. I explained on the phone that I wanted a gel manicure with pretty simple nail art, and the other person needed a full set of acrylics. The man on the phone said it would be no problem, and he gave us a time slot. We ended up waiting well over 45 minutes after our appointment time (we arrived about 10 minutes early as well) before even being spoken to by anyone. There was a man working who was rather unfriendly to us when we were finally taken to the back of the salon. They told my friend they “didn’t have time” to do the full set of acrylics we were booked for, so she had to do something else. I was also told they didn’t have time for gel, so I had to do regular polish. Luckily my friend’s nails ended up nice, but my nail design looked rushed and sloppy when done (lines were very uneven and see-through). I’ve attached both what my nails looked like & what I showed the nail tech. We were so rushed out of the salon that my nails didn’t have time to fully dry, and I accidentally bumped one while getting into my car. I ended up paying $35 (plus a tip) for regular nail polish with a sloppy design, which is not what I went in for. I explained on the phone that I wanted a gel manicure with pretty simple nail art, and the other person needed a full set of acrylics.
