I found Missy’s Salon by doing a Google search for pedicures in my area, I just picked it because it was at the top of the list and I liked their website. And I’m so glad I did! For a while I was just going for pedicures, and Rachel is so good at what she does! Now, I also go to Missy for haircuts and color and she does such a fantastic job! I come out every time absolutely loving the way she cuts my hair, and that is kind of a rare thing. These aren’t the only reasons that I drive from Kanawha City to St. Albans to go to the beauty shop, though. Probably the best thing, the thing I like the most about Missy’s, is that I actually enjoy being there, I feel comfortable there (that doesn’t usually happen in other, larger salons). Missy and Rachel are so personable and enjoyable to talk to, there is a real small town, homey beauty shop feel, sometimes it kind of makes me think of Truvy’s Beauty Shop in the movie ‘Steel Magnolias’. Now THAT is a rare find in this day and age.
