Shop does great braids but needs serious work on professionalism and better scheduling platform. Making an appointment here means nothing. Never had an appointment remotely start on time. Waited over an hour just for someone to show up to do my hair. I’ve been here a few times. It’s not worth the headache anymore. Will be finding another braiding shop.

First appointment was made for same day to have my son’s hair twisted. He arrived and had to wait almost a hr. The price was over the top for simple short length natural hair twist but it looked nice so we decided to give them another go two weeks later. This time we scheduled for 1pm, he arrives and is told that they are doing a braid which is more important, so could he come back at 4 PM, no call nor text to advise of this huge delay ahead of time!

This shop has talented braiders, however it is completely unprofessional. Scheduling an appointment means nothing here. Both my daughter and I have had extended waits up to almost two hours when we have scheduled appointments. Recently I scheduled an 11AM appointment online (with a reminder text to confirm one hour prior) for my daughter and arrived timely. Upon walking in we were barely greeted and immediately told we needed to come back later because they were already busy. After explaining to the owner I had scheduled online and received a confirmation text she completely dismissed me, repeatedly interjected, and said she doesn’t control the online platform. She asked me to bring my daughter back at 2:30PM and when we did my daughter still waited until 4:20PM before her service started. The braider also took a 45 minute break while doing her hair. When she finally finished (at 10:30PM) and I paid by card, I was offered no apology for the inconvenience, charges full price, and also charged over $6 additional dollars for a processing fee. This is not posted in the shop and was never communicated until I paid. My daughter also witnessed others having their appointments cancelled on the spot upon arrival. On a previous encounter, I arrived for a previously scheduled 10:30AM appointment and was told there was only one braider there to do an 11AM appointment. Because this client had not arrived, they cancelled her appointment and did my hair, which is unfortunate.
