New to the area! I was extremely nervous I wouldn’t find anyone who was experienced with naturally curly, textured hair. I researched and decided to give Mirror Mirror a chance and scheduled a color only because there was no way I was ready for a trim. I have had my fair share of stylists who are not familiar with naturally curly hair. Laura was so thorough and very knowledgeable. She walked me through everything step by step, giving me her expert opinion and options. She could tell I was extremely nervous. She calmed my nerves to the point I felt comfortable to let her do a trim/cut. She checked on me several times asking if I was okay. She was an absolute gem! I appreciate her expertise and transparency. Already booked my next appointment. Amanda is very warm and welcoming and the reason I booked with Laura in the first place when I called. Loved my experience here! I’m missing whatever gene makes some girls good at understanding/styling hair, but Amanda did a great job with my consult. She explained my options really well, and gave me some great pointers to try at home. Very welcoming atmosphere, and Amanda has such an outgoing personality. Amanda fit me in as a walk-in on a Saturday (which I was so grateful for) but then went above and beyond to where I never felt like a just-before-closing client. She took the time to explain things to me that no stylist ever has before. Extremely professional, talented, kind & fun. I found my new salon and will be back again soon. This salon is amazing! Laura knew exactly what to do with my hair before I even took it out of my bun. I’m normally hesitant for people to cut my hair because nobody seems to know how to work with curls. Laura was very knowledgeable on my hair type and did a great job. Hands down the best experience I have ever had in a salon. I went in after having a terrible hair cut from a different establishment and Laura not only saved my hair but also gave me the experience of a lifetime. I will never go to another salon ever again!
