I’ve only gone to Mirror Mirror twice and both of my experiences were amazing! The first time I went in, I had a really bad dog bite on my face that I was worried about scarring, Will helped me pick out a product that has made it so my scars are barely notable. So so thankful!

I went in for a bit of makeup for my sons wedding. I told her I rarely wear makeup but this is a special occasion and wanted to look nice for pictures. She did a wonderful job on the makeover but I had to push back on several things (like the serums, $100 1/2 oz… In any case, I ended up with $600 worth of makeup which fits int he palm of my hand. I tipped the makeup artist very well… but can’t help but feel a bit taken advantage of. While I can afford it, i’m sure she knows it’s a bit wasted on me. And out of curiosity i looked up the prices of everything and i can’t figure out how it came to that price.. so on top of everything, it seems I was up-charged over retail prices by 20%! It’s a bit disappointing. I like to support local people, but don’t like being taken advantage of.

Great service and education on products and skincare. They upsell very hard, which I find disconcerting. I recommend potential clients/customers go in with a clear budget and idea of what you’re looking for, receive their suggestions and be prepared to say “no thank you” if you feel in over your head!

I was in town for 2 days and had forgotten my makeup bag at home 2hrs away so I stopped in for some basics to wear to brunch the next morning. I don’t remember the name of the person who helped me but she was the sweetest (she has short hair with like an opal/pastel lilac type of color). She asked me what I normally use but, since they don’t carry Armani, she helped me pick a few products that would be similar and they worked out wonderfully! She even gave me a couple of samples of some absolutely fantastic night and eye creams by 111skin. Next time I’m in Burlington I will be sure to stop in to buy the full size because they are top notch.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS! Terrible customer service!! I got a spray tan on June 18, 2022 and did exactly what they told me to do only to wake up the next day with no tan! Not even a little bit! I called and they said I was the fifth person to say this and they said I could not get my money back. I spent $60 plus a big tip on absolutely nothing! I would think if their product did not work I should get my $60 back but no. I have asked to speak to a manager and they refuse to let me talk to her and instead gave me an email. Here I am 3 weeks later after 5 phone calls and 3 emails and I still do not have my money back not have I spoke to a manager!! The last lady said the manager would call me back and that was 5 days ago. This is unacceptable and terrible customer service! I paid for a service I did not get so I think I more than deserve my money back. Avoid this place like the plague! The girls who answer the phone are rude and rush me off the phone! They only care if you are paying money otherwise you are nothing to them! I’ve never been so unsatisfied and truly ignored from a company. I’m so annoyed I’ve reached out to the BBB to file a complaint! Not worth it!

It’s really concerning how little ventilation there is in the spray tan room. Immediately after my tan I have a terrible sore throat and cough. I feel as if I’ve breathed in so many chemicals. Sarah did a good job however my legs weren’t blended very well. Seems like they were really busy and just trying to hurry through for the next customer.

Yesterday I had an appointment with Will to get my makeup done before going out for my birthday and I have to say it was the most lovely experience I’ve ever had at a salon! I was greeted by beautiful friendly women who all made me feel welcome from the second I walked in. When Will came over to start my makeup he helped me choose the look I was going for with awesome suggestions. It was almost an hour of pure peace, spoiling myself, with the absolute best company! I highly recommend them for your special event, night out or just because! I can’t wait to go back!

I don’t wear makeup but I am getting married so my bridesmaid looked up Mirror Mirror. The staff were really great about explaining everything before they started. I was introduced to Makena Couture who is a Make-up Artist! She is lovely, friendly and made me feel so comfortable ☺️ it looked so natural so It’s like I’m not wearing makeup but that it’s perfect for pictures. Thanks for not making me feel stupid for not knowing how to put on make up. Every one was really excited for me and our big day ❤️

We were traveling from NC and had some time to kill, so we decided to go shopping. I went in Mirror Mirror by chance – it’s a candy store of amazing brands that you only see in large department stores. I ended up booking a Hydrafacial (I’ve had several before and this was the best one by far) – Julie was amazing!! I highly recommend stopping in if you haven’t – I will definitely be ordering my facial/cosmetic products from Mirror Mirror going forward. I am a firm believer of supporting small businesses and this one is worth supporting!!
