The owner Corey has been doing my sons hair since his first haircut. He has a sensory processing disorder and struggles significantly with transitions, sounds & many sensations (like buzzy clippers). When we started, haircuts involved him sobbing in terror for the entirety of the experience. But with Corey’s patience, kindness, skill & efficiency my son who was once terrified actually now asks to visit her salon! She has special clippers with minimal sound/vibration, she knows how to engage with kids beautifully to make them feel safe and she is able to provide the perfect haircut, quickly before he overloads. We’re so lucky to have found this local gem to care for our kiddo! Can not recommend Mirror Image enough!!
