Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueMy first time going to ANY hair salon in 10 years but after my big chop a year ago and living in a new state wanted to get a sew in. I loved the service. Felt at home. No judgement. Womanly atmosphere and even kids were getting their hair done when I walked in. Every stylist gladly helped out the next and even had two stylist on 1 head at a time for assistance if needed. I will be going back and next time get box braids. They even allowed me to come in late and stayed open after hours to finish my hair. My first time going to ANY hair salon in 10 years but after my big chop a year ago and living in a new state wanted to get a sew in. I loved the service. Felt at home. No judgement. Womanly atmosphere and even kids were getting their hair done when I walked in. Every stylist gladly helped out the next and even had two stylist on 1 head at a time for assistance if needed. Critical: ProfessionalismI have been going since 2017. And today will be the last. She is not professional. Every single time i have gone I have gotten a quote before going in then when completed the cost goes up an additional 10 or 20 dollars.I have no issues paying for service. But its the principle..i asked before hand the cost for my daughter and Imy braids which its the same short box braids she did for my daughter before. Coupled with the fact I did braids 2 weeks before …same issue. Might I add the styling I did 2 weeks prior did not last…hence the reason I’m here.Well today is the last of doing business with Miriame’s. I will not be coming back and I do not care if losing my business does not matter to her. I will not recommend anyone to her business. I have been a loyal customer and again I have no issues paying for something but this switch up in price everytime my hair is complete is disrespectful and unprofessional. I would not like someone else to go through what I went through.I blame myself because I should have said something the first time it happened, this however is my boiling point.
