Mireya’s salon is definitely WORTH the trip. The prices are very reasonable! I highly recommend it to women with type 3B-4C as well. Other salons have turned me around because my hair is “ too thick”, but they didn’t hesitate to provide me with wonderful service. I went to get my hair washed, a treatment, set, trimmed, and blown out. Not only did they have patience with my hair, but they took the time to educate me in the process. They knew how to PROPERLY detangle natural hair and I have never experienced that with other salons on Long Island. I’m so proud of the results. This was my first time here and based on my experience, I’ll only be going here from now on. Below are before and after pictures. Thank you so much!

Hands down best salon on long island… They can pretty much do anything and Mireya is amazing at suggesting what is best for your hair. Ultimately she does what you want but she always looks out for what is healthiest for your hair, and that is something to respect. I’ve been coming here since I was about 10/11 and I now bring my daughter and my boys to to get hair cuts at her son’s Barber shop right next door

If you have short curly hair DO NOT GO. The cut I got was nothing at all like the picture I showed. Also they did a bad job of washing my hair – they basically just slapped on shampoo and rinsed. At least it was cheap

Normally I would give 5 stars since I frequent this place. But today was different. The lady that did my hair seemed to be having hand cramps. Instead of passing me off she proceeded to rip chunks of my hair out, tangled it, literally fried my scalp and hair where I could smell it burned. Could not style it where the owner had to step in to try and fix the mess she had made. I love this place but that lady should not be doing anyone’s hair.
