I give 5 stars despite my “introvert” haircut not being one. There was a toddler getting a haircut who was absolutely screaming. Obviously hates haircuts, but he’ll grow out of that someday. No big deal. Someone was clever and told the kiddo that I was sleeping while getting my haircut. So I pretended to snore which got us all some laughs. The trick worked to calm the kid down. It was a good time.

Online they say they’re open. I drove 30 minutes to get my son’s haircut. Arrived and there’s no one in the shop and nobody to answer a phone to notify the public they are closed today. Very frustrating.

My son whose just about 1 year old got his first haircut the other day and his stylist was really good with him. Loved how they’re kid friendly with there kid chairs being antique cars and a airplane and putting on cartoons for him to watch/listen. Recommend Mint Salon for parents to bring their kids to get their haircuts. (fyi they also do adults.)

Awesome place to go! Friendly, kids loved it!! (this is hard to accomplish) They have options for the kids to choose what to sit in and they got to choose a Disney+ show to watch at the same time! All around a great experience!!

Well, I hear this place is the place for kids to go for their haircut and I can see why. When kids walk in the guy talks to them like he knows them. The kids are spoiled here. I love their barber chairs plus they have kids movie for entertainment. I on the other hand had Alicia to color and trim my hair. I’ve been going to her for quite a long time now. I like her because she does a great job all the time.Doesnt disappoint me. Give her a try. The staff are all friendly, too. ❤ Thank you,Alicia.

Positive: QualityDameon is AMAZING! Thanks to another mom, we were able to track him from Sit Still to his new location at Mint. Thank the lord we found him because he is by far the best and literally the ONLY person who can cut my sons hair right. He’s got two cow licks and it’s just impossible to not butcher it. My son has been seeing him since his first hair cut at 3 years old, to now at 6 years old. Bonus that a lego store is in walking distance so you can check out the cool builds after your hair appointment! Can’t say enough great things about him, prompt responses to making appointments, sweet and patient with my kiddo, super quick, just love love love him!Dameon is AMAZING! Wonderful salon with amenities for kids. Several fun car chairs are available with Netfix, age appropriate video games and TV. The owner and staff take time to do amazing braids and spray in temporary color if you’re interested. I really appreciated they asked me quietly first because any kid is going to say yes but it’s not always practical.

After Julie left Sit Still, I couldn’t drive all the way to Milwaukie to her new place. Then Little Clippers left town. Fortunately, one of the moms in my group mentioned Julie’s former colleagues were at this salon. Kayla was excellent and I’m very happy to find a patient, pleasant kid friendly salon. Thanks for working us in short notice and definitely will be returning on a regular basis.
