I’ve gone to this location for 4 years and always had excellence service until this past Saturday. I scheduled an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. I arrived on-time and waited 10 mins for my technician to finish with her previous client. After my tech finished my pedicure, the new manager, Kalee, accosted me when I walked over to the manicure station and told me that they didn’t have time to do my manicure. I asked her why I was being singled out given that there were two other techs still working and other customers being serviced. She kept repeating that she didn’t have time today and that I can get a polish refresh i.e. just get my nails painted or leave. She was rude and disrespectful. She didn’t apologize for the situation but continued to humiliate me in front of the entire shop. I just paid for my pedicure and left. I have never experienced such terrible customer service especially from Miniluxe. Kalee didn’t tell the other techs’ clients that they couldn’t finish their services. It’s clear that if you’re darker skinned and have braids i.e. BLACK, this is NOT the establishment for you. This would have never happened with their previous manager, Beth.

I have been a long time Miniluxe fan, sadly this weekend after getting a gel extension manicure, literally every nail popped off. It didn’t even hurt or affect my nails, it was as if the extensions never had glue or weren’t under the UV long enough! They didn’t even last 24 hours, single nails kept popping off throughout my day. It was as if I had done a cheap at home nail kit, I honestly would not go back considering the price.

Critical: ProfessionalismI have had pedicures all over the world and I never felt more unwelcome then I did here. As a pervious customer that just moved in around the corner I was excited to try this place on class pass. Not a normal class pass customer but I saw my favorite pedicure place on it and I thought I would go. I tired 3 times for a wax at 3 different time slots and it was canceled. So I booked a pedicure. I came 15 mins early like their personal email said. And they seemed super annoyed because they were opening. And then they took the two ppl that came after me before me. One was doing the same service. All I wanted was to be a customer, you don’t even save much on class pass and you have bad times to choose from, and I still tip on the full amount. MiniLux just lost a future pedicure, manicure, and wax customer that just moved in near by. Everything that’s used on your nails is either single use or run through the autoclave. As a healthcare provider I really appreciate the care taken to keep everything disinfected.
