Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’m never returning to this salon. It is the biggest waste of money for poor quality service. I went in to get a new set of acrylics and a pedicure. The pedicure was fine other than me picking a color and her pushing a different color on me for an unknown reason. However the woman who had applied my tips cut 6 of my cuticles with the drill. I was in absolute shock and pain at what had happened. My cuticles were BLEEDING and she just carried on. A different woman did the manicure for my acrylics and when she wiped my fingers with rubbing alcohol I’ve never felt a worse burn. I left the salon with nail polish on the pads of some fingers, bleeding cuticles, and dried glue on my fingers. I was not going to tip the woman who applied my tips because of what she had done to my fingers until another woman chased me on the way out to tell me I forgot to tip one of them. Like, are you kidding me? I’ve never experienced worse customer service. 1 week later and I still have open cuts on my cuticles.I’m never returning to this salon. The nail tech men was very rushed, kept saying there bussy and needs be at desk as well, Im sorry but I’m just as important as the customer on the phone no nail advice and the acrylic was barely put on I went in for eyelash extension had no plans on doing my nails but since the lady was bussy I made them a favor and did my nails then made me feel like I’m in inconvenient plus lost me as an eyelash client because I didn’t like his attitude and feeling rushed!!!! So mad at how ugly my nails look plus I didn’t get my lashes done! Good job

EDIT: After this major disappointment, I returned the next day and the same woman redid my nails for me – took off all polish, filed them to match and repainted them all. Changed my rating from 1 star to 2 stars because they did fix them. However, overall I won’t be returning, as it was way too much hassle.

Definitely won’t be returning. I moved to the area 2 years ago and needed a nail salon closer to me rather than driving down to Queens each time I needed a fill in. So I figured I give this place a try. The first couple times going here wasn’t too bad other than they would never give me the nail tech I wanted. They always sent me to Laura and it was a terrible experience. She constantly cut my fingers. It was very painful and she isn’t good at shaping (square) or doing designs and would get upset if you ask her to fix it. I recently went back again for a gel pedicure (always pay $45). I usually get my feet done by the Hispanic lady’s they do feet phenomenally. That day I got one of the Asian lady’s and she was completely rude! She wasn’t paying any attention to me and when she finally started she had an attitude, the water was very cold, she wore gloves the whole time to do my feet (if that’s her preference and what makes her comfortable then that’s okay but being that i was the only person of color getting my feet done it seemed a little weird. Plus I never seen her wear gloves before and the other nail techs working on the other women’s feet weren’t wearing gloves). I come to relax and enjoy the process of having my feet done. My feet was in the water for 5 mins. She literally slapped my feet around then started painting. Once she started painting her attitude changed she was being very nice and I realized it’s cause we are done and I need to pay. In my mind I already knew I wasn’t going to tip her. I get to the counter to pay and the owner says it’s $47 for a gel pedicure and I’m like no it’s not I been paying $45 that way the nail tech would get a $5-10 tip from me. He claims It was a mistake and that I was being charged the incorrect amount.(U mean to tell me for 4-5 times of me coming here you were charging me the wrong amount yeah ok). I told him that I only have $50 so she could only get a $3 tip and he said No. (I need to tip more)(she should be grateful I even tipped her cause she treated me terribly). He purposely spoke louder so the other customers being worked on can hear, trying to embarrass me. Finally after going back and forth with him, he finally let me pay. After I paid he threw my card at me when my hand was clearly open going to get it back from him. These people are clearly racist and I will not be returning. Nail salons else where wouldn’t treat paying customers like that.
