I gave this hair salon 5 stars. I chose this Salon because as usual my other salon could not get me in and broken promises of returning my calls. Everyone was very friendly and the lady that did my crochet locks was quick and efficient. Finished in approximately 2hrs which hairstyle came out beautifully. Will definitely be returning!

I’ve been here a few times. Always satisfied with my braids and they look good but they don’t listen! I always say shoulder length and get braids 1/2 way down my back. I don’t like long braids. I don’t think I’ll be back for that reason. Now I got to cut this sh×tt. Box Braids

I asked the lady if she knew how to do my hair she said yes but she had no confidence I was from out of town and I can tell that the type of hair style I wanted she did not know how to do I felt very uncomfortable in the place unfortunately reeked of some type of bad smell I wish her success I caught a Uber there and I had to leave in that same Uber and I did not get my hair done there

I would avoid this place. Unprofessional and messy work. I brought with me 3 packages of spring curl hair. Before getting in the chair, I told them I had 3 packs of hair. They suggested I go get TWO more packages. I agreed and went and got two more packages. One pacjk of hair is $11. When I returned with the extra 2 packs, they began working on my hair. When the braider was finished, I told her it was too long and she responded, “If we cut it, it will unravel. Hmmmm…. really? But she offered, we will give you scissors and you can cut it yourself. Then I asked for a hand mirror to see the back of my head. When I requested that, she adamantly demanded payment. Then said, “We don’t have hand mirrors in here,” I then handed her my phone and asked her to take a picture of the back of my head. Please note that at this point there was no mention of me needing more hair or that she wasn’t finished. The fact that she asked for payment was indication that the transaction was finished. Before looking at my hair in the photo, I handed her $120.00 for a crochet style. I was shocked when I finally looked at the photo showing the back of my head and saw bare cornrows with no crochet hair attached. It was at that point I began having a vague recollection of the braider taking strands hair extensions from one area of my head and moving it to another spot. I remembered her doing that but it didn’t register up on my surface mind as alarming. In hindsight I realized she was moving hair to fill up bare areas. She never said, “We still don’t have enough hair.” In fact, when I asked for a mirror to see the back off my hair is when the transaction ended because the braider asked for payment. Had i not looked at the back of my head. I would have made it home and discovered there were spaces in the back with no crochet hair. A lie of omission. I asked for a receipt but was initially told, me don’t give receipts. I demanded it and the owner Mina tore a small piece of notebook paper and wrote $120 and her 1st name. When I got home I called and texted them asking for a 50% refund. Mina the owner responded, “We don’t do refunds.” I would avoid this place! The receipt shows how unprofessional this place is. The picture reveals one brand with no crocheted hair, but there were several spaces in the back.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI WISH I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS!! I have been there twice for some micro braids and both times they were very unprofessional. The whole time I was getting braids they were either on their phones or arguing with each other. The first time I thought, maybe it was just a bad day, but it happened the second time and I knew this was normal. The second time two were arguing while braiding a young lady’s hair and you can see them pulling as they are arguing. Then one ran out crying while the other was crying and trying to braid. When the one came back in, the lady doing my hair gets in on the conversation and stops braiding my hair for at least a half hour. The reason they take so long is they have to stop for their arguments and conversations. The focus is never on getting your hair done, but on whatever the conversations they’re having in their language. My braids are cool, but I can’t take how unprofessional they are. I referred people and now regret i did because they had the same experience with the professionalism. My sister took her own hair and they charged her like she didn’t and her braids were short and began falling out immediately. The whole time I was getting braids they were either on their phones or arguing with each other. The first time I thought, maybe it was just a bad day, but it happened the second time and I knew this was normal.
