I’ve been getting my nails done here regularly for over a year. Amazing quality — the manicure dip will last up to four weeks — and the service is incredible. I absolutely recommended mimosa in Adams Morgan

Solid place to get your nails done and a mimosa… or two . They have a ridiculous amount of nail colors lol! At least three walls dedicated to gel. My nail tech did a great job on my nails and I have no complaints. They did take a decent amount of time (~ 2 hours for me and 2.5 for my sister… we were the first ones in the store) so don’t make any plans after. Check them out!

Mimosa has declined greatly over the years, they legit do not clean or cut your cuticles unless you ask? I’m paying $75 for a full set and it not neat and clean. I like them for pedicures on a girls day but nails is a no go for me.

Mimosa Nails is THE place to get your nails done in Northwest DC! I got a full set with a combination of gel polish and encapsulation. It took my nail technician about 2 hours, but the results were great! She did a great job shaping and was gentle on my nails. There was a chill, nice vibe about the salon, but it was very busy–definitely call and make an appointment before you come in. I did this the day of and was fine.

Got a great manicure here. $20, regular nail polish, and it looked flawless for 10 days. My staff member paid great attention to detail and started the polish right behind the cuticles. Also the included sparkling wine really adds to the experience

I used to love this place. My go to place. They gave great service, and felt like a positive experience. The last two times I went we’re unfortunately neither. Had to come back form my gel 5 days after and then they told showed me two ladies who worked there as the only two ladies who could of done my nails, neither were her. Then they said my colors don’t look like the nail color I had, maybe I went somewhere else. Sir??? Did I tell you I was here five days ago and paid with credit card, we could solve this mystery nail tech you allowed to paint my nails and charge me if you just look in the machine behind me. As if I want to come back down twice to get my nail fixed.

My new favorite nail salon! Have a refreshing mimosa while you get your nails done in the most artistic way. They offer SNS in ombré! Not many salons offer that technique yet so I was happy to find one that executed it well. Little pricey, but most decent salons around here are and you get what you pay for. I’ve tried going to cheaper salons and they have either cut my skin or the nails looked awful. I’d much rather pay more to be satisfied. Also the SNS job here is done so well it last for about a month.

Average work! An additional $8 for a different color on each nail. Why? Whats the reasoning? Same amount of fingers. Same amount of polish. I havent been to a shop that charges this fee. I didn’t complain just paid but wont be back. That $8 took from his tip. He had to settle for $5..ijs

I came here before going on vacation to Hawaii. Not a bad job, I guess. They have a pretty decent gel polish selection (lots of OPI) and then I also got a pedicure. I never get anything fancy so unless you cut my cuticles wrong, it’s hard to disappoint. My total was like $70, so pretty normal. They play some cool videos that show you how to make things that you probably never would’ve thought to make.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI have been going to this particular mimosa location for <1 year and i unfortunately had the worst experience last week. I got my nails beautifully done but unfortunately they popped off and were lifting less than a week later. The lady who was at the front desk was incredibly rude over the phone and scoffed when I insisted i did nothing since i have been getting acrylics for more than 5 years so i know how long they last, esp. @ this salon. After a lengthy convo when I walked in she finally said they could redo my nails and said i NEEDED i full set since they were lifting at the top. I assumed they would be comped because i explained to here i payed 100$ for my acrylics the week prior. i said if they wouldn’t comp them i wanted to take them off. It wasn’t until after my nail person finished my nails that I found out i would still have to pay 45$ for my nails (i was going to tip regardless but then another 10 for tip) so not only did I have to spend three hours of my time but I had to repay for my nails because they charged me for removal + a full set + shape and 20 $ in design for french nails. This experience was highly unfortunate and i would never go here again. Definitely only going to be using the one in navy yard from now on.I have been going to this particular mimosa location for <1 year and i unfortunately had the worst experience last week.
