I went for a root touch up and the person who did my hair had no clue and gave me a red/burgundy color instead of a brown. She filled my ears with cold water during the hair wash and yanked and pulled at my hair when blow drying. I now have a headaches and writing this review with the hopes that they read it and hire professionals

NEVER have I ever experienced such rude behavior during a kid’s hair cut as I did today. They don’t tell you up front what the price of the haircut will be. Their rates on the board say 19 and up for boys. But they decide arbitrarily how much up they will charge. the lady is loud and confrontational. My son, 7, has thicker and longer hair than most boys, we went in for a trim and nothing fancy. I specifically mentioned he is a boy. So I am thinking they will charge me slightly more than $19 to justify the longer hair. But they don’t say a thing throughout the time and then when the billing is done hey charge him a woman’s hair cut charge of $30. More than 50% of what is on the board. So I said they should let customers know ahead of cutting how much they can expect to be charged for the hair cut as opposed to slapping the charge at the very end.

There are 3 places at the Market Place Plaza to have your hair care needs met. 1 is for guys only, I think, Sports Clip. The other is a total RIP OFF. I should have guessed this by looking at my hair stylish do. Then there’s Mimi’s Hair.Yes there isn’t any of that chit chat, but your hair needs are taken care of at a very reasonable price. It gets extremely busy at Mimi’s so make an appointment.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI don’t know how this place got some good reviews but their customer service and their service in general is horrible. I took my daughter for hair cut l. They just see you as if why I have come and don’t even tell how long it takes. I waited for more than 15 mins. She started pulling her hair so bad that I was shocked. Tears were rolling off my daughter’s eyes. I came for a quick trim for my 2 year old. He hates haircuts, so I knew it was going to be painful. As soon as the gown went on, the tears were started. They were patient and efficient, giving him a pretty decent haircut through all the tears and head shakes. Price is very reasonable and they were able to take him immediately without an appointment and late in the day, which was a big plus.
