I went there to get 2 braids. She told me she can’t do it she can do 4 and She doesn’t know how to do any design. It’s was overpriced for the quality of service. She is very heavy handed, I FELT MY HAIR BREAKING unprofessional and all the ends for the braids were not fully braided. they were uneven and unraveled as soon as I drove home. She Used very cheap products and the entire time talked about slavery and complained that she didn’t want to stand up. Over all lazy, extremely poor work ethic and acted like I was begging her to do hair. Hair looked like I asked a cousin to fix my hair really quick. It did not look professionally done. Absolute disgrace. At the end looked at me and said … “it’s hard for me to braid” THEN WHY DO U HAVE A BRAIDING SHOP?????

I was really impressed with how professional and kind Mimi was to my wife. She listened very closely to what my wife wanted and took her time to give her exactly what she requested. She went out of her way to make sure everything was fine. I can’t say enough about how pleased my wife ( and I) were with Mimi and her work. Needless to say we highly recommend her.

My experience with Mimi’s Africa Hair Braiding was great! My daughter and I wanted our natural hair twisted and we were able to get an appointment the next day (even on New Year’s Eve). The stylist was kind, friendly and professional. She finished both of us within three hours. The work was beautiful! Thank you.

I went here to get some micro braids a while back and I will not be going back again. I paid $240 for some braids that were big and uneven. the outer braids were small and the braids in the middle was big. then she constanty took unnecessary breaks. I will not go back ever and I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Got my dreads done… The front of my hair was done but the bacc wasn’t… Use gel on my hair and i don’t use gel because my “Nappy” (My hair) hair can’t take gel or Spritz.. I REAL LIFE had to do my head over when i got home NEVER wast another 50$ again… I just wanted to try and see wat sumone else could have done but NEVER again I’ll continue to do my own LIKE ALWAYS… Thanks again
