Critical: QualityEDIT: my gel nails started lifting only a week after they were done. So sad!My friend and I got gel manicures here. The reason I gave two stars is because they accommodated last minute. It was super busy and I think they just overbooked themselves because my friend waited my entire manicure to get her nails done. The guy was very apologetic, which was nice. The woman I had was nice, she didn’t talk much which I didn’t mind! However she was super rough on my cuticles and I’m still bleeding on one of them and she didn’t paint The sides of my nails. When my friend finally got hers done, it was pretty quick. They turned out okay but nothing special. She tipped $20 on a $30 manicure and he barely said thank you, which I found odd because she waited so long. Lastly, I noticed the woman I had threw the cuticle clippers(that again made me bleed, therefore my blood is probably on them) back in the drawer, whereas my friends tech threw them directly into the barbicide mixture. I’ve never gotten my nails done before. The guy who did the dip powder did a really bad job. He left polish everywhere. He tried to clean up the mess on my fingertips and around my nails by using the cuticle scissors but he just left chunks of skin missing and hang nails. He neglected to remove the polish left around my cuticles. He even left partial finger prints on my nails.

I’ve been going here for years! I think my first time here was when I was about 16…. I’m 23 now. I’m not super talkative but the owner and the staff are always very nice and accommodating. As well as remembering things about their customers, it makes you feel remembered! The staff is easy to build a friendly relationship with. I’ve always paid the same price and understand price changes depending on if I ask for extra. I always see them cleaning their tools and know even if I don’t see it before I leave, they’re getting cleaned. The owner is playful and teasing, I’ve never taken that as rude (I’ve seen some comments saying otherwise). They have quite a few regulars, myself included. I moved further away but continue to travel to this salon because It’s my trusted nail salon.

The guy who owns it and sits by the door is AWFUL.. both as a person and also at doing nails. Do NOT get stuck with him. Trust me, just wait for literally anyone else working. I recently moved onto forest ave and figured I’d try the closest nail salon to me. I’ve been getting my nails done every 3weeks for the past 6Years. He shaped my nails very uneven and when I and asked if he could even them up and make the shape more round/less pointy, he screamed at me that if I didn’t like it I could leave. His wife who works in the spot next to him came over and smoothed out the situation as well as my nails and did a great job, which is why this isn’t a 1 star.

I called Millenia Nails because I recognized the business, however I was not greeted when the employee answered the phone and he promptly said we have no time for that and hung up the phone after I said I was looking for a manicure. I would’ve scheduled for later! Not going to be trying to reschedule.

Cindy is amazing….spent a day of beauty at Millenia Nails! Eyelashes and nails all in one day. Cindy makes you feel relaxed and doesn’t care if you fall asleep and snore ! Then she surprised me with my nails, I gave her free range to do whatever to my nails and of course she did an awesome job.

Instead of Redoing the dip powder, they just put gel polish over the mess that was there. I called them because I was trying to be nice, they did have other customers in the building so I was being respectful and told them over the phone that I have to go to another nail salon for them to fix this, please Reimburse me, the owner played dumb and said he had no cash and had no way of refunding me, then the owner hung up on me. I have never had such bad service, they messed up my nails so bad I asked them to fix them the first time. Instead of Redoing the dip powder, they just put gel polish over the mess that was there. The employees were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice but my manicure was rushed and the sides of my nails did not get painted. There are also bare spots on tips of my nails. Disappointed with the result of my manicure.

She was aggressive with the cutters and spent the whole time yelling at another technician . Then she was using a dirty finger nail to wipe polish from the sides so hard that I asked her to stop. Now the next day my finger is red and swollen. I called to tell them what happened and they just said to come back in but I will not be going back there.
